If I remember correctly, they used contractors to make the animations which is why the animations vary in style between weapons. I might be wrong though.
@@primus8026 If I remember correctly, contractors are people who are paid to do one thing rather than having a full time animator to do it all year round. In other words, they outsourced animators to do the animations for this game and this game alone.
