nice job, this'll help and I've learnt a couple of things i didn't know you can do like using a guy to jump over walls, didn't know that was a thing in the game. nobody told me about it until this video now! Definitely made me see infantry gameplay different now that i've watched the entirety of the tips and tricks.
Hell Let Loose was my gateway drug into milsim shooters and I'm in the process of converting to S44. Right now my biggest obstacle to improvement is understanding the map, and what my high-priority targets are. S44 seems to be similar to HLL in that the key to taking control of an area is the construction and destruction of team spawn points, and, to a lesser extent, squad spawn points. Hunting down and destroying enemy spawn points or constructing your team's spawn points are like...your highest-priority goals in HLL most of the time. Is that the case in S44? If so, is there a guide somewhere on how to read the map/battlefield to find those enemy structures?
Unfortunately I never tried RO2 but heard a lot of great things. I really wish they had a cqc stalingrad in this game, it would be amazing with how good infantry combat is.
It’s 50% off right now and is legitimately the best ww2 sim experience ever made. They just added interiors to every building and a lot more. The devs are actively improving it all the time. You should come try!
nice tips and gameplay. I think update graphically looks nice and same with the colors. Sometimes I get great performance, but sadly mostly I get poor performance and I can tell by your video you do too. I like the changes they made like 300m radio and all but the player base is weary and so am I. I want this game to succeed but I just can't see how it will survive another 6 months in this current state. Very few people are building FOBS and the problem grows worse not better. Those that do build, build them im bumblefrick nowhere and waste resources. I'm still seeing 1-2 full servers yet again. They really need to hit a home run on the frontline mode or w/e they've been talking about. I think with fobs taking less time to build would be the right move. In HLL you can build them in ~5 seconds with supply drop or a support role, which in my eyes would make it less of a chore than it taking 60 seconds for a solo helper to fall asleep over. I want to keep playing this game but between that and the terrible gunplay and sway they've changed, this game is just an abomination in my eyes. It's like putting lipstick on a pig, it still has a long way to go and I for one have lost steam. The game is much more boring and linear, less spawns, less players. I feel like I'm walking through a barren wasteland more than a battlefield. It may be post scriptum, but it's lost it's charm in my eyes.
@corerampage7587 both. I mean look how Orange the trim looked in those buildings. The night sky was like fortnite colors. The grenade throwing animation is extremely silly looking too. Just nothing really made me saw wow about this game. Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings. Just my opinion comparing it too other fps games of late. Seems ages behind.
@@jackglockstar it’s a mod from Squad made in 2018, it was never going to rock graphically. The base game (Squad) isn’t a graphical masterpiece either. It has much better raw gameplay as far as gunplay and pace compared to other shooters in the same niche which are far slower and ironically less realistic due to other mechanical problems the don’t exist in SQ44, that’s the saving grace of the game. That being said, I’m not a fan of what they’ve done with the lighting with their latest update, but I’m resigned on that stuff since they make all kinds of silly choices.
