IED : looks like a couple of mortar shells taped together IRL : decent sized explosion likely to blow up older vehicles like Humvees and Land Rovers but modern MRAPs can take the hit while everyone inside would be safe. Squad : Tactical nuke that can annihilate an entire platoon, vaporize an M1A2, and have an explosion that rivals a 2000lb bomb.
@@GOLDEN-sm3wr most fpv drone in Ukraine are using pg7 rounds or grenade sized explosives. Which is not like in the game where a funny bug makes them carry multiple ieds, besides I'm never said that you can't do that all I ever said was you need a bigger drone. Well there is other loitering munitions though and lancets can carry bigger explosive than fpvs.
@@IvanTre Not like this, for this small drones that the game shows only grenade types of ammo are used, mostly ukraine, there are bigger explosives but that is used in different drones, russia ones for example. 3:44 thats stupid, theres no drone irl that does that kind of explosion, thats a fucking bomb droped from a plane.
Just yesterday me and my buddy were doing VBIDs on motorcycles and one of the times there were 2 Tanks surrounded by friendly infantry that had no lats or hats so I sent my boy in and typed in team chat “I’m sorry little one” and took out both tanks but killed like 9 friendlies 😂
The worst part is that this is an actual threat. Cheap COTS drones can be purchased for relatively cheap ($200 at walmart, vs a multimillion dollar drone) and used in large waves (for the same price of a multimillion dollar drone you could buy a lot of walmart drones and IED making supplies). The only real way to protect against drones is nets (impossible except for fixed positions, and when the net is gone you're fucked), jamming (works better but still has issues) or finding a way to destroy the drone. Easy with a laser or missile (expensive, and not small enough [yet] to mount on a person or vehicle) but difficult with a service rifle. A shotgun requires practice to hit.
Jamming actually works and most drone attacks that I watch mostly happened when the attacked sides have their guard down. Also there's a footage of drones being shot (even a small drone) that's why most drones are used as reconnaissance or spotting for artillery. Also you need a heavy-duty drone to carry a substantial explosive.
But actual drones irl can barely carry a morter round. Most of the attacks with cheap drones are done with grenades or grenade launcher shells strapped to a release mechanism. Not a whole fucking IED that explodes like a 500lb bomb in this video
