Ha! It’s true. 😂 We’d lost the last 2 games to their armor and I really really wanted some revenge. Thankfully the heli pilot and armor squads were happy to help me out. We all just wanted a win.
@@tanky_8677 They are just really good dedicated roleplayers, doing exact suicide tactics real russians do, with same vehicle graveyards on a tiny stretch of a road.
@@All_Mighty672 just because there is a road doesn’t mean you have to take it. He could’ve went north through the tree line or south by tacan with tree cover. Trees on this map are so thick it’s almost impossible to thread a tow between them
@@All_Mighty672 true but the thing I have learned is only way to beat people is to get creative. It might take you 15 mins but at least you are on the battlefield
Кто сказал, что русские используют ту же тактику? Если бы вы следили за боевыми действиями, то видели бы, что за 2 года подход к ним был изменён кардинально
@@AriraleLover it has but, the grave yard of vehicles is still happening, from both sides. The russians are using storm z units to move in majority of cases, small units with support from further away, tanks relegated to artillery.
A tactic thats used alot in both War thunder and real life, is to first shoot the ATGM away from the target, and halfway through the trajectory, point the missile back at the target. This way the vehicle wont be able to tell where atgms are coming from. It works fairly well, however its really only useable in the long ranges like this lol
Even with lockons in battlefield 4. You lock on, let go and just let the missile fly up and somewhat towards them. Relock them last moment. Before they use aps the missile hits just sounding like you are right beside them. While you are safely far away haha
It’s the only road out of main otherwise you’re navigating on the mountainside through trees in a low visibility tracked vehicle for 30 minutes just to get out of main, at some point the armore just says f it, looks the the enemy team had low cohesion anyways, when I command we immediately track down the tow, they clearly didn’t care enough to look for it
The algorithm really hit this one well. All I can say is that this is some of the most satisfying AT footage I've seen in a while. Especially with the engineering nerd in me knowing exactly how these TOW's penetrate and spall inside
I wish enemy teams I went up against stayed this braindead throughout the match. When ever me and my pals set up a TOW HAB, we usually get targeted by everything after our first kill.
damn, i was on rus in that match yesterday. entire team was just a no communication hellhole. 3 individual heli squads were arguing at main over who had claim over the heli for the last 30 minutes of the round, and they somehow ended up flipping it upside down on a building. Good shooting though!
I hate playing on European servers cus of shit like this American servers are full of people who are basically just Canadian asf. really chill people who are generally pretty agreeable Meanwhile on Europe you got a pole and a brit arguing over who gets claim on a IFV, and whenever you get in an armour/mechinf squad, the SL is always in the gunner seat doing nothing to support infantry, and just going for kills and dying
Hey not sure if you remember me but I was rice muncher, I wasn’t sure if this was me until I heard and saw my voice. Nice shooting Texas. Glad to be your heli pilot that day.
Я думаю, в данной ситуации было бы наоборот, учитывая, какие по качеству британские танки. Половина сломалась бы на подъезде, вторая половина увязнет в грязи
@@lusa3002Dynamite drop-in, Montey. "I know you are but what am I" is ready for a comeback, and absolutely worth a laugh emoji. You get an extra ruble for lunch.
I'm a jaeger in the Finnish army, kinda like a ranger but not quite. I don't know anything about this game, but maybe you could try some of the things they've taught us. - Give important features of the map names beforehand. Then you don't get somebody misunderstanding what road you're talking about. - Also, I'm not sure if you had spotter there. If you don't, you should have a guy watching the road while you're reloading. Maybe another guy watching your rear, so you don't get ambushed. - Can you camouflage your position in the game? High ground is good for observation but you stick out.
I love Skorpo, especially its lack of fog which enables these kinds of beautiful long range engagements. Manic-5 used to be another similar map that also had amazing panoramic views, while Kohat Toi is the classic. People are afraid that removing excessive fog is going to make vehicles too powerful, but that is clearly not the case as you can see from this video. You just need to devote some resources to countering them. ATGMs are not OP either, it just seems like the enemies here were braindead and didn't communicate at all. Not sure why the tank at the end was so hellbent on trying to hit you with a main gun shell that takes 8 seconds to reload when he could have easily got you with the 50cal or maybe even the coax. Also vehicle engagements are so much more fun when you're not forced to strain your eyes through the dense cloud that appears 400m away.
Everyone giving the MTLB drivers shit saying why would you drive into a vehicle graveyard but honest to god how did NOBODY spot them up there. They are practically set up on a cliff face with absolutely no vegetation for concealment whatsoever lmao
True but they look to be at least a kilometer away. Idk about you but I’ve never been riding in tank with my buddies and just randomly thought “hey guys, you see that mountain waayyyy over there? Wouldn’t it be crazy if we just started getting picked off like fish in barrel from a TOW placed up there?” Nah we’d all be singing on the radio enjoying the sun and then BOOM! 🤯
Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact... same fucking thing... over and over again expecting... shit to change... That. Is. Crazy. Я уже говорил тебе, что такое безумие? Безумие - это точное повторение одного и того же действия, раз за разом, в надежде на изменение.
This is why Patton screamed for his tanks to get the hell outta the fuckin' roads. These green tanks would be a lot harder to pick off of they matched their terrain, but on these pale roads, they stick way out. Doubt they'll learn from these mistakes.
I’m Russian, but in principle I don’t care about the war and how the Russians fight, because I’m not a patriot of Russia, and I rather maintain neutrality between Ukraine and Russia, but looking at the sea of such comments like “Russian strategies” or smth like that, it becomes real to me It’s funny, just think about it, would the Russians continue to launch tanks and bmps after a bunch of destroyed tanks? this is stupid on the part of all such comments, I understand, of course, that you are all brainwashed about the fact that Russians are bad and they have poor technology (something I myself can agree with), but if you look at this whole situation not through the prism of hatred to Russia is it rational? no one will send tanks over and over again in the hope of change
And again, most likely, after 1-2 columns of tanks and bmps, the Russians simply bombed the places where their tanks are knocked out using 9-S-7760 or something cheaper, but in any case, no one would send them further and further, they are not that stupid as you and other racists towards Russians think, in a squad there are simply no such opportunities as there are in real life + most likely 90-95% of players in the squad do not even have combat experience, except for the one they received while playing in a squad lol, Well, judging by the way the players playing for Russians play, they confirm my words that they have no combat experience as such and no gaming experience either
Well, and even more likely, if the author of this video played as a Russian character, there would be no comments filled with hatred towards the same British technologies, because this is just hatred specifically towards Russians
Oh it’s worse than that. He shot maybe 10 more times. Missed most of the shots, hit the tow once but didn’t take it all the way down. Buckshot rebuilt it and we got him between shots.
I am starting to think that these types of clips exist only because the other team is bad. How did nobody look for you? It is not a new thing to sit up there with a tow.
The were absolutely bad. You can tell, because they drove 4 logis right into the kill zone. 🙂 That being said, the vehicle squads knew I was ripping them up pretty good, so they kept the infantry from crossing the street down below me. So it was partially a bad enemy team, but some coordination on our part.
Clear sightlines on enemy MSR? A team that supplies ammo when needed?! An enemy gone full lemmings mode!? Those are some of the funnest Squad matches, next to running a MBT/IFV and the enemy team can't anti-armor for shit.
"Here I go again on my own Driving my tank down the only road I've ever known! Like a drifter I was born to drive alone... But I probably should have checked in with recon, or sent a scout sniper team, or literally did anything other than drive my tank straight into the shooting gallery yet again. AND I'VE MADE UP MY MIND! I ain't wasting no more time" *drives tank down road again*
@and-Buckshot Old people? Buddy I'm definitely an old person and that song came out before I was born. Y'all must be ancient or something. You retired yet or would my parents be disappointed in you?
Hey Bixby! great clips! I had a question for you though. what recording software do you use to get these clips? I use invidia's overlay and whenever i record a clip it always cuts out my voice when i talk in game. Thanks
You have to set up the mic in the NVidia software. It took me quite a bit of testing to get mine to work as it also didn’t pick up at first. Just google the problem and try the solutions. It sucks though and it was super annoying.
i had a tow set up with a team in a similar type of location on the map Mestia, we destroyed basically all of the russian vehicles until a cheeky enemy sniper setup to take us out.
8:16 I don't understand why MG fire would make the sights of a TOW shake like that. It's like saying that the sights of a tank would shake at small arms fire.
I’d assume it’s to simulate the person itself flinching, not the actual TOW sight. you can see that whenever those screen shakes happen, the TOW doesn’t actually change trajectory/follow the crosshairs. It’s still going center screen. It’s kinda like if you were looking down a scope of a bi podded/stabilized rifle, but someone pushed your head down. Your scope picture changes because you eye is now misaligned, but the bullet still goes where the barrel is/was pointed.
