@@gurratell7326 If they get server meshing to work like they want, then star engine will be the engine for MMOs of any type. And the engine on the video is not their end product, they are still updating and evolving it.

Factually wrong. This is the Squadron 42 demo. The star engine demo from Citizencon has not been released yet… and why do you have rtx logo in the thumbnail, do you know what the machine they used had??? The rest us did not get that information from CIG

Squadron 42 is guaranteed to be an unplayable mess.. But can't wait to play in 6 to 8 years when it's fixed.

Squadron 42 is feature complete, they are just bugfixing and optimizing the game now. But it will require a good PC to play. Maybe 3000-serie or better. The game is also lagging because they have not finished vulkan gen 12 for the game. It will utilize to cores better and the game might not get CPU bound anymore and then less lag.

In the Navy, all officers, regardless of genders, are referred to as sir.

That's a bit of a sci-fi staple. You'll see the same thing if you watch Battlestar Galactica. It has nothing to do with being "woke". So clearly for the UEE Navy, every officer is "sir".
