Chad, I enjoy your videos. I'm reaching out for a little advice on. How do preload load lifters Some video's says set 3/4 of a turn, some say a 1/2 Turn after preload What's your thoughts on this? I'm sure you made a video, but I could not find it. Thank you

Hey Chad, the venturi effect won't work unless there is a high velocity low pressure section in the pipe, you cant achive this with a pipe of a consistent diameter... To properly implement what is known in physics as Bernoulli's effect aka the "venturi principle" in your crank case evac system, you should locate your suck port at an angle in the high velocity low pressure section of a venturi tube, this will increase the efficiency and the effectiveness of the airs ability to do what your wanting it to by evacuating the crank case with a pressure drop/differential... If you type into Google "venturi pressure drop for negative vacuum" there are diagrams on Google in images that will explain... Hope this helps Brother, if you need some input i would more than happy to help with suggestions... The evac system on my dually uses the pressure drop from heat rising by locating a catch can with a breather on one side of the engine as low as i could mount it on the core support to draw air in and another catch can on the other side mounted high on the inner fender for heat/pressure to evacuate, in turn this creates a vaccum/pressure drop in the crank case, im gonna make a video about it eventually... People ha e been doing this for years, it's not a venturi effect. It's siphoning. And I will guarantee and bet money that it works. 😉

I know for sure those exhaust scavenging crank case ventilation kits work, they have been using them since the 60's, I actually used one back in 2006 on my 84 k20 mud racing/bogg truck but I modified the suction tube with a whistle cutt on the side to more effectively create a pressure drop at the suction tube which of course draws more crank case gasses apon the exhaust pulse velocity passing by which creates more vaccum in the hose... The only reason I mentioned any thing about the venturi effect is because at around 7:05 you refrenced the venturi effect when you were talking about the suction tubes effect in the pipe... ultimately on the cheap without building a custom exhaust venturi a person could neck down 3" exhaust to 2.5" with adaptors to create a short venturi tube of a sort to insert the suction tube in, with the increase in velocity and pressure drop of a short section of 2.5" pipe with 3" adaptors creating the makeshift venturi would not noticeably restrict the overall flow of a 3" exhaust pipe...
