Hello Lee Hyun-seung. How are you my friend? How have you been? I hope life treating you well my friend. I hope you and your family are well. Much has changed in the past 3 months. I have completed my part-time education and after 22 years of working in the bicycle industry, I have now left that and become a full-time trainee cabinet and furniture maker - and it’s the best decision I’ve made for a long time! It’s not quite up to the level of complexity or artistry of your beautiful furniture, but I hope to one day make that leap. With regards to this video, I really enjoyed watching the chairs being made. I always find it fascinating how many processes a piece of furniture goes through. Plus, the added leather work makes them really interesting to look at and adds a nice comfortable feel to them. I’m super impressed by the bent lamination, plus all the shapes to add interest. The dimensions of each individual piece is just perfect. Anyway, all the best to you and your family over Christmas and I’d like to wish you a Happy New Year too.

Job well done my friend. May I ask how do you prevent the glue squeeze out from sticking to your form when you clamp it up? From my angle it appears that the glue could squeeze out on your alignment pieces on the side of the form.

What is the saw you were using to cut the tenon cheeks? Its table is waist high and the piece enters the mid point of the blade.. I notice this sam's style saw used in ishitani videos and have always been curious about it

around 4:30 minutes in, what kind of saw is that you're using to cut the tenons? I'm usually good at googling stuff but can't find much on saws like this. love your content btw!

OK, this time I SAW it! You DO have a router table! Of course, you're using it as an assembly table while you still do the pattern routing by hand, but you do HAVE it! 😈 Beautiful as always sir; a very elegant chair. I especially like the round-over on the back legs; that really brings a nice balance to the design. Nice to see that we both work with leather too. Question: Did your assistant make her own apron? That apron is beautiful and was a tremendous amount of work to make, with double seams at every edge and pocket! Maybe, if you are good, Santa will bring YOU one that nice for Christmas? 😄 Be well my friend...

Gorgeous as always, however you do not appear to be a person who likes to sit still long enough to truly enjoy the chair! I am noticing more Festool in your shop. I am considering one of their 6” sanders for my business, they appear to be great machines!
