An apartment close to us commissioned a custom order.
I requested to make two super single beds with different foot styles.
The mattress plate is not fixed according to the customer's request.
The plate and cross reinforcement are made of pine, and storage is planned in the lower part.

You could have done two simple plywood rails on the inside and come back after a few years when they wear out but you chose to mill,cut,sand,treat the hard wearing oak pieces which provide a stable and lasting surface.Well done! You can be proud of your work.Whatever was paid for this piece,it was worth it.

Hello my friend! Beautiful work as always, and you actually have room in the shop to do a SINGLE bed... 😂 Have you looked into the new removable Dominos from Festool? Those might be easier than using the standard bed bolts. And as always, your precision makes me smile. 20 minutes of pounding to get the sliding dovetails into place, and then? You clamp them. Hah! Best wishes!

Bonding only part of the underside of the headboard The upper part has some space for the wood to shrink and expand

It's awesome your work, like always. How did you prepare the wood before finishing (sandpaper) ? Wich oil did you use in this proyect?

Are you asking about the waterproofness of the final sandpaper? Minimize sanding so that the surface of the wood does not collapse The final sanding finish is around 220. 400 or so on the table top? Always use Auro 126 for oil

Yes, that's right. On the other side there is room for the shrinkage and expansion of the tree. Now that winter begins, the trees will begin to shrink.

your work is very good:)..your tenon machine that you use is that an attachment to the table saw? We dont have that particular machine here in north america:)..I`ve seen Ishitani use similar.

It is only in Japan. In the past, Japanese woodworking machinery companies made a lot of them, but now they are almost out of business. There are still a lot of used machines in circulation. It is similar to the Ishitani machine.

If you look at the old Stanley, they used to make it this way to reduce the resistance of the floor. Lie-Nielsen also initially produced this type of planer, but no longer makes it. I was lucky enough to buy a used one.

How are you, friend? Lie-Nielsen 4 has an angle of 50 degrees, 4 1/2 is 55 degrees. Actually, there doesn't seem to be much difference, but just looking at it makes me feel good. Next purchase is number 5~ Have a nice weekend, friends!

In fact, the core of this bed is the wings, and the buyer thoroughly requested the spacing between the mattress and the wood. (Only 10mm on each side protrudes) Of course, the mattress will not fall off, but we talked about this part in advance and proceeded with the production.

Machines are produced only in Japan and are often sold second-hand. Find Yahoo Auctions in Japan!

헤펠레 침대 연결 철물 사용하시는데 괜찮는지 궁금합니다 ^^;; 부재 연결 했을때 움직임 이나 사용할때 소음 없이 잘 결합 시켜 주나요? 영상에 사용하시는 모습이 있어서 글 남깁니다. 아름다운 영상 잘 봤습니다.

헤드와 풋을 연결할때는 볼트와 너트를 사용하여 체결했고, 크로스 중간바에는 침대철물을 처음 사용해봤습니다. 조립순서를 잘 정해서 중간바들을 걸어주면 이전에 사용했던 헤펠레 중간바 철물 보다는 훨씬 견고하고 좋은거 같습니다. 시청해 주셔서 감사합니다!

아..복잡하고 어려워 보이네요. 사이즈 큰거 작업할때가 가장 어려운거 같아요. 세밀한 완성도 항상 부럽습니다. 요즘들어.. 목공이란게 재능이 있어야 하는거 아닌가? 나는 가지고 있나? 하는 의문이 자주 듭니다. 동영상 감사합니다.

안녕하세요. 명절 잘 보내셨나요.? 답변이 늦었습니다. 이번 영상은 카메라 고장으로 수압대패 장면이 없습니다. 모든 가구제작은 수압대패를 사용합니다. 100% 단차를 잡기는 사실 어렵습니다. 단차를 최대한 잘 잡기 위해 노력합니다.~
