I signed up for it because Active Campaign was very confusing to use. I actually find that this is even better than Mailchimp because the integration is in lock-step with the website hosting.

Great video thanks, does the email system in SQ also allow for funnels and lead magnets? or even a mini email course? Just trying to understand how I need to connect external sites, and where possible I don't have to. Simvoly looks pretty good re funnels and automations

Hi I just watched your video again. Thanks its great to get an update. Is there a disadvantage to its "double opt-in system when capturing email addresses - where users have to go to their email account, open a confirmation email and click a link before they are fully subscribed to your list. ' ?

Hi Louise, thanks for the helpful video! If I already have people on my list but I only what an automated email to go to subscribers during a certain time frame, will that email only go to those new subscribers or does it go to everyone on the list? Thank you

Question: I'm publishing my first book next month and want something I can use to start an email list. Is this email marketing through Squarespace only available to you if you have a website with them or can you use it as a stand alone? If you have to have a website, are the costs you've shown in this video in addition to the webhosting cost? TIA

I love that this feature is available and love your video. I have an opt in gift when people sign up for my newletter, so, they will get a welcome email with the opt in gift. How do I set it up so that they are then on the newsletter list and will get my newsletters?

Hello! Hope you are well. Love your videos. QQ- Is Squarespace accepting Convertkit? I keep trying to add forms on my pages and it says that the link, pages, javascript and everything I've tried is blocked. Sorry, but I've outgrown SQ features.

You can't really include videos, however you could include the thumbnail as an image and link out to the video. That's how I would get around it.

Hey Alfonso. Not sure if you can add an attachment, but you could just link back to a page on your website that has the PDF available for download.

Hey Mercede! I would create a form on a page on Squarespace and then link this in your IG bio - this way they can go right to your bio and be sent to a form to sign up! xx

Hey! This is specific to Squarespace so you can only use it with a Squarespace website. Personally I like it better than MailChimp :)

Is there a way (or a video you've made) on how to capture someone who has purchased from you to 'tag' them so that if we want to send an automation (say a survey 30 days after purchase)

At this time, no - there is no tagging in Squarespace. If you need that functionality (and plan on having a few automations running), I would recommend using ConvertKit! louisehenry.com/convertkit (*affiliate link*) You can do a survey 30 days after purchase though - it would just be triggered by someone purchasing, not a "tag." Does that make sense?

Hey Allan! This is absolutely possible 🙂 You would have to host the tracks somewhere, and then you could just link out to that in the initial email sent when someone joins your list! I hope that helps!

Hi Farrah! You'll have to click on the image inside of your newsletter and turn on "show captions" 🙂 Once you do that, you can click on where it says "Write here..." under your image to edit your caption! I hope that helps!

I’m so new to email marketing. What does it mean to have unlimited subscribers but a 500 email/month limit? If you have 1000 subscribers does that mean you can only email half of them? I feel so dumb 😩 Can anyone explain?

Hi Renee, you can't really insert videos into any email platform (from what I know). Most people will share the video thumbnail in the email and then host the video elsewhere. You could create the actual video pages in Squarespace and then link to them. If you need help setting this all up, def check out my course Website that Wows.
