I followed your instructions for accessing the stripe account set up. It took about 10 min. to register my business with Stripe and then I was able to connect the account to squarespace immediately. No approval wait time. Thank you for sharing this video, super helpful info!
Hey David! I designed a new squarespace website for a client moving from 7.0-7.1 we haven't gone live yet, but when should I recommend they disconnect stripe to old site/connect to new site? after going live or before? Thank you SO much for any help on this!
Sure thing! What is the funnel you have or goal you are trying to do? Do you want their email to be able to show them the webinar or do you want to use actual webinar software? Give me the deets!
@@meetdavidalex I’m new to this so I will attempt to answer as best I can. I would like to run a weekly webinar. The funnel to get people there is my podcast and potentially website. I’m open to a webinar software, but wouldn’t mind directing people to a hidden RU-vid video.
Yeah, you can have them fill out a form on your site that asks for name and email and once they submit, it redirects to a page on your site that shows the hidden YT video, and below the video you can have an offer. :)
Do you have a video explaining or could you tell me what the best practices are for getting this done on a website that I'm building for a client? I don't know that someone is going to feel comfortable with giving me all of the information that I will need to have to set up a Stripe account for them and I don't know that I feel comfortable with that either.
Once you get payment processors setup, go to pages >> click the '+' sign >> create a store >> add a product >> boom! :) You have a product to purchase!
Hello! I'm trying to integrate a three installments payment to my squarespace website. My stripe account is connected to klarna but squarespace does not accept this integration. I was then trying to do it with paypal but, as soon as I connect my paypal business account and try to buy something from my website (a 300$ product) it doesn't give me the option to pay in three installments... why? what can I do?
I believe Squarespace only works with After Pay, not Klarna - so if you setup stripe and afterpay, you can get the installemnts as you like. You shouldn't need to buy any payment processing service!
@@meetdavidalexI can’t add Cash on Delivery method. What do you recommend? Should I change the platform? What platform would you recommend for cash on delivery method?
