Best video I’ve seen with logical sense. Other people are saying “oh put plates under your heels” turns out I have bad shoulder external rotation. Thank you.

the shoulders & high chest was exactly it for me. thank you SO MUCH for this video. took me 5+ videos to actually find my issue

Thanks for the help. I’ve been squatting with horrible form most of my life. I’m surprised my lower back hasn’t given out on me. I know I could squat more than my body weight cause I’ve done it before (with extreme pain). It’s been a little demoralising re-learning the right way cause I’m going really light, but this small tweak in flexing my back more has done numbers for me.

Great video. I’m 6’5 and always thought it was my length who was causing the trouble, I’m going to the gym for a leg workout right now and I’m going to try and do the stretching work beforehand. Thank you!

This is exactly my problem. Squat form is good with bodyweight squats but as soon as I put a barbell I feel tightness in my shoulders and start to lean forward. Thanks for this.

Can doing this with an exercise ball be okay? I don't have a large roller but do have an exercise ball and tried it and it seemed to be okay. I could certainly feel the extension in my chest.

What about a low bar position? I often see powerlifters use this technique. I'm dealing with a shoulder injury so my external rotation is not good.
