Something I find interesting is the front man only turned off the lights when the VIPS got bored. Goes to show the whole “fairness” thing is pure BS.

That guy who could tell the difference between the two glasses (normal and tempered) who worked at a glass manufacturer for 30 years definitely should have lived!!! The Frontman for turning off the lights so he couldn't tell the difference any more, that was f**ed up. A comment that I've seen and absolutely love was.. When the Glass expert got the marble, that he could've tapped the marble against the glass that he was already on and then threw it onto one of the other ones in front to see if the sounds were different! Whether they got that from another comment or video or what but that's some real shit lol

That almost rape scene in this episode was the one that haunted me the longest after watching the series.

Not sure if you realised but during the scene where they show the little model bridge in the VIP room the pink soldier uses knights from chess to represent the players. This is a good small detail since the Knights jump from tile to tile, which the players of this game have to do aswell

Lol ok I thought something that would’ve been really funny in this episode is whenever they pushed someone or she fell back with him in her arms that the glass was the tempered glass, and then they just lay there awkwardly lol like “WTF BRO?!”

given what the show is about, front man shutting off the lights was definitely indicative of the 'fairness' principle of the game being a farce. they'll keep up the image that it's fair, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it actually is.

Huh. I always thought Aaron would be the one to keep rationalizing Sang-woo's actions in this show but he starts off w "fuck Sang-woo" lol The last two episodes are my favorites because of the confrontation between the guys following Sang-woo's actions here. Gi-hun always looked at him w rose-colored glasses, but here the fog finally lifted. And I still found it hard to judge Sang-woo for it bcs like Eric and Rick I kept rationalizing his actions - and then ep 8 happened lol and even then he showed how he was always two steps ahead of everybody throughout this thing. My mans played heartlessly, but also smartly, and I respect that. That said, I'm excited to see them call for Sang-woo's head next ep lol

This episode just goes to show that the rules surrounding "fairness" in this game are bull. Despite promising a "fair game under the same conditions" they purposefully dimmed the lights on the glass maker because the VIPs were bored, despite letting Sang-Woo get away with an unconventional solution during the marbles game.

That bridge game would've been better if there were 2 jumps left instead of 1 when they turned off the lights. Then Gihun gets them across to the last jump with the marble, it would've been more meaningful that old man's marble saved them. Because glass man didn't need 2 marbles to tell the difference, he just needed to bounce the marble on the glass he's standing on and pick the glass that sounded the same.

The Jiyoung Saebyeok story line affected me the most by far.

I like that the reactors also choose numbers (or horses) to root for at the beginning. Sort of like the VIPs.

Hmm, they knew that person had worked so long with glass but considering there was 456 players and only 16 in this one, there was a big chance he would've never made it to use that knowledge, so I think he deserved it at that point. Which makes shutting of the light even more mean.
