it does make sense strategy wise also I didn't find them as likeable they just regular, rather a POC's make it then just all the non poc people all together that don't even have a struggle to need the money like others

@@mellofan2012 Spoilers. That was part of the final challenge where it get brutal and all out, all 3 players got given the knife. Equal chances to eliminate each other. Where as the challenge the producer give some one the power and the other has none.

Obviously players can’t kill each others in the reality show so the power to eliminate is pretty much the same thing. It wasn’t fair both ways. I love that the producers threw the power of elimination into the mix.

@@mellofan2012yeah but at least you has the ability to fight them off I know they added in the eliminations for drama but I didn’t like it. I would rather see them get eliminated by losing the game

@@adaaa11 that doesnt set it apart from any other game show, the show is a death game, You can litterally do whatever to win the game. In this bringing people to make selfish hard decisions not only infront of everyone but also thier peers and friendships that they build through out to test thier character. Even in the regular show had popularity contest aspects to it. Things weren't fair etc, etc. in most cases of player elimination they were given a choice to do something or not do something to get those eliminations, everyone had eqaul oppurtunity to get those chances. They made people think you could get them easily then, it wasn't and you didnt always want to volunteer but if you did you had the potential to either be rewarded or punished. They had to make ways to make it cut throat, elimination is cut throat.

I didn't like her eliminating the the guy who was next to her but it made sense strategically. But her eliminating the guys because of their camaraderie was pretty petty

It was pretty stupid actually, as rick was probably going to be eliminated soon in the games, not all of them are in teams.

The way Rick was just casually flipping it like he invented the game, was hilarious & one of the most wholesome moments of the show. Then when they had em thinking he eliminated Stephen. Lmfao !!

That does not make sense. I do think it's a show error that destroyed it for me. Just give some very hard task to do or a disavantage on next task, but elimination without a way to fight back is dumb af. No one even the guy to pick the wrong box should have been direct eliminated, all this direct elimination shit should be like the guy that take the phone, at least he had a chance.

@@TimothyPingus you realize that a lot of Squid Games going forward apart from the bridge is personal not physical. Alliances are important. He's older but not in his 70s, a physician so intelligent and tactical and playing a social game. He was playing the game, using what he had and was a threat because of those he influenced. He was very loud about it too not hiding it, there's another alliance of white men that keep their alliance on the down low, this means they are more protected. Breaking up big numbers, is an acceptable strategy. If a man did this no one would be so violent in their responses about her.

He ditched Rick to look for stronger players than when Rick found him, he (Stephen) was pretending like he was looking for Rick all along. Very performative on his part. I know he was looking out for himself and wanted a chance to win if the game was Tug-O-War, but don't be fake about it!
