Justin Ty Technically, ROC > Taiwan ROC claims the whole PRC, Tibet, and Mongolia, as well as some parts of Tajik, Russian, and Indian lands as its own. Taiwan, is just an island, from the ROC government's viewpoint.
Considering the living standard, I think Taiwanese foods are really cheap compare to other countries. I would def have a blast eating my way across Taiwan. Great content as always Luke and Sabrina.

When you return to Tainan, I recommend you research how locals order from 阿娟肉粽魯麵 in order to not miss out on their awesome congee and 魯麵. Their 肉粽 was one of the best I've had too. It's just a couple minutes walk from the squid noodles place. I also tasted several beef soup shops (including Wen Chang) and my favourite one was 鬍鬚忠牛肉湯 (mustache zhong) and they are also right beside a famous Eel noodle shop

Best parts of Squid..I didn't know there were any..LOL,, not a fan of squid..the noodles looked good. Nice too see the prices put up on the screen. Beef Soup and meal..now you are talking as always a good tour.. Travel Safe
Leeches and bananas are at their peak seasons now. Mangos and green bamboo-shoots will be in the peak season next. Since you are in Tainan, go try '豆芽菜麵 bean sprout noodle' a very simple noodle with green-bean sprouts in Hsinyin district, 'Ee-mie 鹽水意麵' in Yenhsui district (the beehive firework town), and temple-vegetarian dishes (大仙寺) in Baihher district. Note that you better give some grants to the temple before eating their veggie lunches because those are prepared for temple monks, nuns, and temple followers.

Great video. If you are ever in Tainan again, you have to check out 霸王豬腳, it's literally a block from the beef place, my favorite pork hock place in the entire world.
That breakfast pancake & Oysters Omelette are similar. The entire breakfast is great and so are the Beef Soup & its Fried Rice. That Squid Noodles would be my least favorite.

Great review buddy. I just watched your vlog on the tonghua night market in Taipei, that gua bao place is my go to spot there. There's a super fresh Japanese sushi spot there and also a very famous shaved ice spot less then a block from the entrance. Next I'm in Tainan I've got to give that squid noodles a go, looks delicious!

it will be good for you're viewer to try the food first before commenting the dish and be honesty with the taste because not all people "love" spicy, sour, and salty food.
