yeah i know...its agreat guitar too - thing is theres a reason 6 string guitar and 4 string bass are the most common... multistrings and baritones and doublenecks just arent everyday drivers
@@MADMALKOthese Squire series are just interesting. Revisiting older models n coming up with different takes. It's really cutting the company above being the cheaper Fender alternative.
I have always wanted a Guild 12 string acoustic, the reason was my uncle bought a new one in the early 70's and i was fascinated because i had never seen a 12 string electric or acoustic before and i thought it sounded so different and cool, i must have been 8 or 9. I have a hard enough time playing a 6 string acoustic 😊. Dont know if they have womens field hockey in Scotland but the head stock looks like a womens field hockey stick. I think both electric and acoustic 12 strings have there place but i dont think i would have the patience stringing one up and setting it up.
yeah we have shinty here too but i didnt say that coz most folk wont know what it is - i was kinda assuming americans were talking about ice hockey ...the washburn stage series have an ice hockey stick headstock! - i still like smurf! i know if i had a 12 string it would be great but id end up not touching it for a couple of months then the strings would need replaced - same things happen to me with acoustics
At about 12 minutes in it sounded very cool, right before the Rat, but the rat sounded good. How about a 12 string threw an octive pedal. By the way just got a MXR bass octive pedal, have not worked it out yet.
Breakout the saw, sandpaper & lacquer😬❗️❗️ I hate that headstock! What were they thinking? 🤭🤣😂🤣😂😜🥳👍 Nailed-it! It’s a Smurf hat 😂👍. Sounds nice enough though😯👍 I’ve got a Pono TT8 ukulele- 8 string (top & bottom are 1/2” thick and the sound hole is on the back!) it sounds very much like a mandolin😍😯.
@@MADMALKO give it a Google. Pono TT8. I’ve got fluorocarbons on the unwounds, it’s bizarre how it develops it’s sounds, almost like an unplugged solid body electric when you strum really softly but produces a really bright jangly Mandolin type sound when picked or played harder. 1/2” top & bottom really flies in the face of convention- it’s supposed to be a factory build of a more traditional Tahitian tenor ukulele. 😯. Have you played one of those banjitars (guitar banjo)? 🎸🪕. I moved to ‘leccy guitar because the missus was always complaining about the racket I made with Ukes & Banjolele 🤣👍
own your height man , being 6 foot aint all its cracked up to be - its good at concerts and reaching high shelves but that extra legroom on a bus or plane really offsets those things.
Did the same mod on my tele. 4 way switch was like 40 bucks. GTFOH! Paranormal Series only exist on flat earth. My home world Earth was round and we didn’t have such exotic guitars. This on is making me jones man Aaagh tryin to give up the habit….
just connected it up - works good - id probably rather just have a £1 toggle switch or a push pull tone pot to do the same thing and save the money though - will be tomorrows vid@@mr.whitesnake8421
Mr. White, guys like us we will never get that monkey off our back. So tie up your arm, get your credit card ready, and push the plunger. Feel the warmth go threw your vains. Ahhh!!
