i had a group set up house in my attic one year. it was grand central station. i fixed the hole, set this trap and culled a dozen that summer. that was four years ago. they are running rampant around the yard again so i may have to set this thing up again. having a small group in your yard is pleasant, but when it gets overpopulated they become a real nuisance
I use a Fern trap in a tunnel which is quite effective but not 100%. How does this trap compare to that ? How much pressure do you need to exert to set it? From the video setting it seems more difficult than the Fenn.
Maybe bait it with a hamburger? I used mixed seed bird food in my WCS but all I got was a rat... So far. Today, I'll try peanut butter on a small piece of bread.
