Hi there welcome to Thrifty Journal Shop my name is Amber! Welcome to my channel! Today I’m going to share two of my latest Junk Journals. The first journal is made from a Winnie-The Pooh Tell a Tale Book. I have sewn the book onto a dish drying mat cover. I have added a silk flower, stickers and some fabric to the cover. This journal folds out to a trifold journal. I have sewn lace to the inside cover for pockets. I have wrapped some bakers twine around the journal with some of my handmade paper beads.
Journal Height is 8 inches Width is a little over 7 inches. There is one signature with 40 pages with a total of 80 pages front and back. I have added a variety of thrifted colorful, electric papers with handmade ephemera. I have included the entire Winnie- The -Pooh story to the Journal and its order.
The second Journal is a Little Golden Book “Five Little Bunnies”. I have sewn the book cover onto a dish drying mat and have added some stickers and fabric scraps to the cover. The inside of the journal has lace pockets. I have wrapped some bakers twine with some of my handmade paper beads around the journal. Journal Height is 8 inches and the Width is a little over 7 inches. There is one signature with 44 pages with a total of 88 pages front and back. The journal has some of the original pages of the story. I have added a variety of thrifted colorful, eclectic papers with handmade ephemera.
