Actually it's a Hindu temple, its called Kathigamam Murugan temple, who is Lord Siva's son. in Sinhala, the Sinhalese call Kathirgama thiyo. There was only Hindu temple later the government built Buddhist temple beside. There are two one is on ground and other one is on top of mountain. It's really steep high mountain. Its thousands of years BC old.

The. Government changing the true history of Lanka. The problem is not between Tamils and Sinhalese. Only the politician's discriminate minorities people rights. I have a highly an educated Sinhalese friends so they knew about true history of Lanka not Sri Lanka. The name of Sri not good for the country.
