I'm using sh030 model, just today I unplug Sd card and All data stored in Laptop... All videos just play Few second whereas each video around 10min... From mobile I can preview whole 10min remotely.. Whats the reason actually...
Hi, 1. Whether someone turned off/on while recording 2. If the video file is too large, it will interrupt the start of another file, and there is no fixed time. 3. There is a problem with the SD card and the writing fails
Good day! I hope you could help me. I can't view my SH029 cameras using my SriHome app over the Internet when I am not at home. While I can view my SH024 cameras over the Internet when I am away. Why is this so? There is no problem with the setup (connection between Internet/modem-router/local network and SH029 is fine, in fact I have no problems accessing the SH029 through my local network). The internet connection at home is fine as well (using fast fiber connection). And the fact that I can access my SH024 cameras over the Internet when I am at another place proves that there is no problem with my home network and Internet connection. So I don't understand why I can't access my SH029 using my SriHome app via the Internet when I'm away from home. I hope you can help me out asap. Thanks!
Hi, I have a problem setting up a new sh028. It worked when connected to the router but then I factory reseted it, unplug it and insert the 4g sim and then plug it back in and now when I try to add it in the sriHome app it asks me for the wifi password instead of connect directly via the 4g sim. Any solution? Thank you very much!!
I followed the instructions to set up alarms and notifications. The camera records alarm video but does not send the notification to the app. I checked the app and phone settings for notifications and everything is enabled. The firmware of the camera is 22.7.4 update says it is up to date. I also made sure the app is updated.
Can the camera feed be accessed by a device that's not connected to the same wifi? For eg, how can I access the feed when I'm outside my house and the camera is connected to the home wifi.
@@srihomeipc2229 Hi, Thank you for your reply, I managed to set the camera up. I still have a few questions: 1. How do I set the camera up so that I can view it without having to be in the same wifi network as the camera? I don't stay at home all day and would like to access it from outside the network. 2. How do I make the camera record to the SD card 24/7, without the need for connecting the phone to the same wifi network? 3. How do I access the camera connection from my pc/through another device without the srihome app? I'd like to know the IP since it's an IP CAMERA and view the video directly on it. 4. The Sricam app says that the device ID is invalid whenever I try to login, even though the srihome app works fine. I tried scanning the QR but it still doesn't work. Looking forward to your reply, and thanks again.
@@asdgautam1476 1. You need to configure your camera to the Internet. Please click the link below to view the connection steps. 2. After connecting to the camera, open the recording settings, you can choose all-day recording or alarm recording. 3. If you purchased SH029, this camera does not support viewing on a computer. Only cameras with RJ45 network interface can be connected to the computer. 4. Newer versions of Sricam and SriHome cameras are not compatible with older versions of Sricam cameras. It cannot be used in the same APP, but can only be used in different APPs.
@@srihomeipc2229 Hi, thanks for the reply. 2. I did that, but it does not record anything. I toggled it on and off a couple of times, it is set to 24/7 recording now but the SD card's space is not filling up and the "remote recording" directory is empty. When I use the record button in the app,it only records it to my phone(ie. Local recording) and stops recording as soon as I close the app. Please help me fix this issue, I need it to record all footage and then keep overwriting it as soon as the SD card is filled up. 3. But it is an IP camera, right? I would like to navigate to its IP, port forward my router and view it from a web browser in my PC. Is it possible? Also, the srihome app does not allow me to export/share my captured screenshots and recordings to other devices. How do I achieve that? Thank you.
I bought this camera on 13/04/2022 and hardly worked after 5 years after repeated WIFI connect failure. Then next day on 14-04-2022 the camera stopped working and the reset option does not work at all. How can I rely on this camera. Moreover, there is no any nearby Service Centre. As per my knowledge there is only one centralized service centre for SRIHOME Company. I live in Guwahati, Assam.
Hello, sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. I'll try my best to help you out. You said that it was purchased on 13/04/2022, but you also mentioned that it will not be used for 5 years. I can't understand what you mean. Ignore this for now, please power on the camera, whether the camera will send out a beep sound waiting to be connected. If yes, open the network settings of the phone, find the WiFi from the camera, IPC_xxxxxxxx, and then go to connect. After the connection is successful, open the APP to add a camera, and then follow the prompts. Be careful not to place the camera too far from the router. will affect the connection.
Hello, the camera adjustment pixel will return to the default value pixel, in order to prevent traffic loss. Keeping high pixels for a long time will consume a lot of data traffic. Considering the needs of most users, the default pixels will be restored after pixel modification. hope to understand
My camera works perfectly inside the home when I set it up on my mobile. However, when I fit it into the garage it does not work. Do I have to set it up again inside the garage?
Hello, your camera should be too far away from the router, and the WiFi signal is weak, causing the camera to not work. You can try to buy a camera with a network interface and connect it with a network cable.
Hi, dear guest! Which model did you buy? And did you inset the SD card? If not, it can not record. And you can enter the Setting and click the Video settings. If SD card not detected, you need to insert it again until detected. If it doesn't solve the problem ,please email to technical support . Hello, the camera will automatically switch the infrared light at night. Or click Settings ---> Lamp Settings ---> Select Lighting Mode in the APP. Any problems with the camera can be contacted by email. support@sricam.com
Hello, 1. Please confirm whether the password is entered incorrectly, 2. Check whether the wifi network is 2.4Gwifi. 3. Check whether the distance between WIFI and the camera is too far, put the camera next to the wifi router and try to connect; 4. Please refer to the FAQ: www.sricam.com/article/id/031ee92b41cd4cceb759648e18737b08.html. 5. If the above operations still fail, try to use the AP hotspot connection, refer to the address: www.sricam.com/article/id/5a31da5a3bf544808d616b41a48a3d84.html
Try to use the AP hotspot to connect to the camera. The AP point is the camera ID. Operation reference: www.sricam.com/article/id/ffc6c0fe10db438d8d059367aabd11ca.html.
Actually I bought two camera relying that this Camera would work properly. But I am very much disappointed with this Camera. Local Purchase would have been the better smart option rather than shifting online.
The camera worked fine for about 2 two months, then all of sudden it can not connect it to application. I removed the device from the application and is it still can not connection. It was good camera while it lasted. The support page is terrible. The Worst camera I had so far. Definitely would not recommend.
Hello, because you have connected the camera, you just delete it from the program, it will not change the camera. You need to reset your camera to factory settings and then reconnect it. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
Hello, Thank out for replying. I have already Delete the camera and tried to connect it lots of times but it will not connect to the wi-fi. My wi-fi is working fine so that is not the problem. It appears as if the camera does pickup the the qcode for my wi-fi. I have tried everything and it will not pick it up. I also tried the cameras hot AP, but it asking for password. I tried the suggest 12345678 password and that does not work, I tried 88888 (that is on the camera) and that does not work. I do not know what else to put as password since it will not take a blank password. It may be possible that this camera may be defective but there is no way to test it since it will not connect. As far as the warranty the seller is no longer on Ebay so that puts me at loss for price of the camera. At this stage I glad that you answer my question which is good customer support, but still if this issue can not be solve I would not a recommend a camera that lasts only two months and I do not think one else will.
@@turtleandson Hello, first of all I sincerely apologize for your troubles. I am so sorry. Could you please record a video of the whole process of you connecting our camera? I need to figure out what's wrong with it. Please contact us by mail. Email: support@sricam.com
I have post the video on my youtube channel since I do not know to publish them to this page. I had to make the vidoe into two parts since the camera fails to read the QR code which I had to enter manually. On the video the camera fails to read the QR code for the Wi-fi. It used to it, but it does not want to any more. If I press continue as shown on the second video it will not connect. Unfortunate there is no work around this issue and it may just as easy making a change in the software where the user can manually enter the wi-fi name (by passing the QR code). I think this is possible because with Kamtron camera I am able to do it and has me saves a lot of head aches. Also with the Kamtron camera I am able to connect directly to the router using an ethernet cable. This would be nice feature if the Sirhome camera would an ethernet connect port, unfortunate it does not.
