Manjeshwar Srimad Anantheshwar Temple is famous for the conglomerate of Shaivism, Vaishnavism and Naga worship culture. This Temple is considered as the most ancient existing temple of Gowda Saraswat Brahmins. Srimad Anantheshwar Temple has a history of 12 centuries and more. Renovation and re-incarnation of Srimad Anantheshwar Temple has been carried out in humongous scale during 1799-1804 under the guidance of HH Sri Vibhudendra Theertha Swamiji. This puranic temple is dedicated to Sri Shiva accompanied by Shesha or Anantha deriving the name Srimad Anantheshwar.
