SRP Update Mod Showcase/Trailer | Scape and Run: Parasites Version 1.9.14

The gnat is rather similar to the Flood “popcorn” infection form

And here I thought the parasites couldn't get more disgusting, but those feral variants really kick it up a notch. Amazing work SRP team!

Definetly one of the best MC mods rn, the quality, AI, mechanics, design, horror, and just everything about this mod is awesome

I love how well this mod takes inspiration from so many well known body horror monsters and makes them not only mesh together perfectly, but add them into a game that seems like they would stick out like a sore thumb in. No matter where the inspiration came from, be it Halo’s Flood with the gnats and feral forms, The Thing with the original ideas and forms, it’s all so amazingly done!

That feral enderman is going to be a menace! This is a great update 🎉

you know what this mod needs? trophies. things like heads, severed tentacles and other severed parasite parts people can mount on their walls.

Hey this might already be a thing, but I think the mod could really use a command that just disables every single feature of the mod and then a command that enables it. This would be useful to postpone the parasite apocalypse in custom experiences. Right now I’m imagining one of those massive server “experiments” where a ton of players are invited to the server with the origins mod so they can be blazeborns and they have like 30 days to build a city of fire to defend against the parasites before they start to appear

I KNEW IT, I KNEW YOU WOULD ADD THE HIJACKED GOLEM, i saw you at the troubled boys livestream, after they discovered that iron golem bug, you said some shit like "yes, use the golems..." in such a sus way that I already knew what was going to happen. Either way, I'm very excited to play this update!!

I like the peaceful music over these horrifying abominations and the speaking rupter proudly showing it off to us

"Variation Wand" made me giggle honestly Imagine that one usual for Hive Mind tropes queen who has this wand and repeadetly uses on random evolved longarms and just thinkg "What color I want today?"

I love how its in the mob vote style (Not watching because i want this to be a surprise to me, but i clicked and liked just to tell you I appreciate the amount of effort put into not only the mod but the showcase)

theres something so weirdly pleasent yet unnerving about just watching a world you know die as classical music plays in the background

This new update's looking good! The feral parasites look awesome and will be a true terror to fight off I bet, plus I feel like many of us have been awaiting the Assimilated Squid for a long time now! This is genuinely one of the most impressive, and one of my favorite, mods for any game I have seen and played. Keep up the great work!

I really like the Feral Enderman, seeing it run at the speed of sound is both hilarious and terrifying. The hijacked Golem looks awesome and I love its running animation! Awesome update! The dedication put into this mod is insane! Huge thumbs up!

You guys are really making it harder and harder to actually live, great update, id love to see what the Hijacked mobs (the ones that havent been added yet) will look like in the future, Great work Developmenet team!

It seems to me that the skeleton can be infected since it is still organic, but the blaze, in addition to consisting of some kind of fiery dust, also burns, so the blaze (and probably the skeleton's wither) can be left uninfected

The Feral Variants really give me SCP "The Flesh That Hates" vibes and I am In love with that like they are completely unrecognizable from the original mobs they were born from!

i really like this update! the new feral mobs are pretty interesting and the assimilated squid makes underwater bases much more dangerous. looking forward to more underwater parasites ngl

The Enderman's Feral form reminds me of Freddy Kruger from a Nightmare on Elm Street (0:51) Note: It's because the Feral Enderman has a pink and red skin mixture. It is very skinny, and it has sharp weapons as the hands like Freddy Kruger

Compare to those "Spooky man that chases you for a while and despawns"mods this one is actually scary and fun! thank you to all SRP developer team for making this mod !

I really love how the mod makes these parasites have so many possibilities and abilities that makes it complex and interesting rather than just simple. along with the designs to go with it

This js such a terrifying mod, it brings such hopelessness, the loneliness you feel is worse than vanilla Minecraft, there is no other human but now all of the living things you could meet are dying out to become parasite monsters with no other purpose but to soread and kill everything to assimilate itself and die out with time when nothing else is left

This is well made, keep up the good quality and never stop improving!

I've tried the parasite mod before, and the two biggest issues I've faced is a; Just starting a new world, and being immediately attacked at Mach 10 by what should be Peaceful mobs. or b; Trying to survive *one day* and having the infection spread too damn fast.

I will wait for Assimilated and feral Endermen to be given the opportunity to take blocks, like healthy ones do.

Nerfed assimilated enderman: "woah nice finally bro." Feral endermam: "oh."

This update is amazing, I can’t wait to see the Iron Golem & Squid both becoming parasites! Idk what else you guys are gonna add but I’m excited to more of this mod. Maybe more sea creature becoming parasite who knows!

1 thing I'm curious to see in the future (if it is possible), is a way for the player to be infected, become a parasite and being able to play as one. This could be so much fun, imagine a world in which there's 2 players, a bit of a story and all of that. Then one of the players gets infected and turns into one of the parasites. A something like that could be very fun to play with friends. Now that the mod has updated, I'm excited to see the gameplays around it, this is gonna be so much fun to watch (I sadly can't play it because I don't have a PC).

i think it would be really cool if hijacked skeletons could combine to spawn hosts like the assimilated mobs form primitives

Friends of mine set up a server with this mod and some tech mods. The screams of sheer terror have been awesome, absolutely phenomenal mod. Scariest moment was when one of the assimilated endermen brought in a hoarde of assimilated humans into our little bunker- well it was funny to me but it had a buddy of mine screech in fear lmfao

There's something oddly beautiful about the parasites bringing life to The End.

Bro, I don’t have words to describe it.. this mod makes Minecraft an absolutely new game, new mechanics, mobs and that’s fantastic! I hope you will make it better and better! I also just watched trailer for srp, which was created a year ago, and it’s another proof that this mod is actually another game :) keep great work guys!

Feral are like between assimilated parasites and primitive parasites for the most part of course assimilated enderman is still the exception having more stats than most primitives only downside is he doesn't adapt to damage sources.

I swear, there's Going to be a Point to where the Parasites will get so Bad, That it won't even be Possible to Progress or Survive Correctly in a Minecraft world Unless you have Military, Base, Or Literally anything that can Kill these Things effectively from Other Mods. maybe there will be a Update to add a Villager Varient for the Minecraft Comes Alive Mod, or Grimoire of Gaia, Just spitballing. but MCA is something that makes the Most Sense

i like how gnats look like rupters and do the same things but gnats feralize the mobs instead of assimilating them like the rupter

The gnats are cute, but the buglins and rupters are still cuter.

SRP is so so fascinating, and the team has done a wonderful job with it !! I wonder; would you ever consider adding something to the mod that would allow the player to become part of the infection? Like something to sow chaos on a multiplayer world, or live among the parasites? Being able to spread the parasites personally would be a fun thing to toy with on servers.

The feral Enderman design is really cool! Looks terrifying Aswell.

I think the hard part; is avoiding parasite nests, because of the rather large bipedal ones with the ribcage jaws that chase you down from a mile away, and even with iron armor they can mop the floor with you if you cant get above them. Seeing more of the mod and the additions they made for it; im starting to wonder how im going to survive day 1; let alone the first night

I wonder if there would be more ways added to kill those things or at least stop the spread of a virus in some ranges, because despite being a Hardcore mod, we must have something to fight with. I hope new mobs to fight Parasites would also be added, because you can't just fight them all, right?
