that Eastwood docu looks sweet as! Van Damme is always a fun time. Just cannot get into the shot on video stuff, but happy they exist for those that dig it! Good'un Dan
@@themadbluds SOV is an acquired taste - I’ve seen a few. Howl Beyond the Fog turned out to be a 30 minute puppet kaiju movie? It was interesting. Thanks brother.
I know that Mickey SPillaine did do some acting. He even played his own creation Mike Hammer in a film called The Girl Hunters. Love Lionheart I watched it again a few years ago and it still holds up. It was called AWOL here in the UK.
Very nice pickups 🛻 Mr Dan, hope you enjoy Ring of Fear as much as I did, I believe that was made right after the success of “greatest show on earth” and a couple of those Brigete Lin films are on Tubi Wonder how much as is the Jet Li Film you mentioned And that is called “Swordsman 2” Take care of my friend. Have a great day.
I LOVE SOV (Shot On Video) films! I'd recommend: All the JR Bookwalter stuff All the Christopher J Seaver stuff The McPherson Tape Video Violence 1 and 2 Scary Tales Shatter Dead Sledgehammer Things Tales From the Quadead Zone Black Devil Doll From Hell These are films shot directly on video, which would be different from a found footage film. Although SOV can also be found footage films, but they're not mutually exclusive. Check out the book 'Analog Nightmares: the shot in video horror films of 1982-1995' by Richard Mogg Or Either of the Bleeding Skull books. LOTS of good education on the sub genre. I'm a fan. 💙🎃 Always love checking out your videos!
