Takes me back. I had one of the first 04s in the country. At the time most of the car enthusiast community hated that car. No matter how fast it was or what you did with it or how well it destroyed its competition at the time it was always 'just a neon'. It's crazy to see that this car is getting some actual appreciation now.

I remember when these SRT4s used to be everywhere, they were cool IMO. Wish there were more around, still in solid condition. I'd consider picking one up in a year or so.

That was around $35k at the time with inflation. Saw them everywhere in Santa Barbara now they are rotting and destroyed sitting in used car lots for $2k to $6k

Blow your transmission somewhere else. Mine was a pos with just 70k miles. The second I had it running and driving right I sold it.

Stock sure they are slow but a srt4 with full bolt ons a big wheel stock turbo on e85 all on stock transmission and stock motor (400-450whp) will put a few cars on a hellcat been proven time and time again
