During the Kings birthday long weekend (10-12/6/2023) Steamrail Victoria run their postponed Ballarat steam shuttles, while these shuttle where meant to be run a few weeks earlier but due to track works within Ballarat Station they couldn't be done.
For this year's shuttles K140, A2 986 and T364 would be the motive power for the shuttles with the T being there as a support engine in the event of one of the steam engines failing.
This Video covers the events on Monday 12/6 where in the Morning there would be two shuttles with the K leading to Lal Lal and the A2 tender first back to Ballarat instead of having the A2 funnel first for the return run. and in the Afternoon a daylight return to Melbourne via Bacchus Marsh. and to finish of the Video a overhead View overlooking the train heading back to Newport.
