Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for your comments. My driven of the SIMIT videos is to use the SIMIT 'Demo' version to show the applications. This can guide the new learners to engage and easily join in. However, more and more valuable applications have to use licensed SIMIT and the license is so expensive for personal user. BUT, yes my friend, I will see more applications of SIMIT, especially the applications by using SIMIT Demo version.

The Siemens Telegram is predefined, for example, in a word, the enable bit, alarm bits are all defined. So once the controller and drive are using the same telegram , e.g 105 (servo control) the PLC and Drive can talk each other with the correct control command and feedback info. But if you are using three party drive and this drive doest support Siemens telegram, then you can use the free telegram and assign the control bits or status bits according to the drive side defined.
