i play sec quite often and im used to seeing other sec kill people for sliping them at the best of times, heck i have seen the clown arrested for having a multi-tool
I basically never report anything but outright hacking in games, but in this I’m probably going to start a-helping soon. The new blood need to understand that yeah, I could jump straight to violence too. I could blow half the station with the self-defense grenades I stashed in my locker. But I don’t, because it would kill the game.
dude, i once seen a passanger being arrested in perma for having sec boots and this is what an officer who warrested him said: "He either killed a sec and took his boots or is a nuclear operative because they also have such boots"
This was a nice round, i was a passenger and didn't know what to do, so i started asking HoP to change my title to the "Greytide with only one tool" my gimmick was that i could only use a gas analyser, after i got the title i started doing air inspections for each dep, every head played along and in the end HoP gave me AA and made me an official NT Air Inspector, command was chill and funny ngl,i had a blast.
I was the tech assistant on his first shift. Thank you for showing me the ropes. I think I should have let you walk me through putting on an EVA suit when you asked. I realized a little bit too late how to put on the helmet. Edit: And I may or may not have been unaware that as a slime guy I ran on nitrogen instead of oxygen.
plase tell me that was LRP.... HOS just gunned down two unarmed person, and both was standing still.... (also captain just died to soap + ziptie, yet some of the players still belive its perfectly balanced)
I think the current state of slips are good, it helps even the playing field a bit with antags and security. Plus if you really want to be careful you can slow walk
soap + cuff is not hard just place under person or stay on his way and wait him to walk by, and "if you want to be cearifull just slow walk" yes i will totally slow walk all the way across map just to put radom paper on HOP s desk and return to my department
Hey, I was Marthan Aurelius this shift, I planted a bomb in the medbay maintenance tunnels, then I went into crit and a very “helpful” teammate of mine brought my ass straight to medbay where I got fucking evaporated (also I said a code word right to your face and you did nothing lol)
YOOO I was that poor sci guy you bombed at evac, Henry was in Sci for like a quarter of the round and RD was just ignoring him. Earlier in the round there was a grav anom in the Therapist's office that ended up almost going critical because the Therapist insisted they could man the APE. That round was an absolute cluster.
I had a wild noob syndie round that I can only sum up in greentext format: > Third time getting traitor > First two times I was so passive I got nothing done, was basically just a crewmate with anxiety and unused contraband > This time it's three kill objectives and a get to Centcomm alive > I'm tired of being scared, this time, we ball > Buy and equip a bloodred hardsuit, fireaxe and no-slips before I even board the shuttle > Warden buckles into the suit opposite mine on the shuttle > "Well this is awkward" > Get on the station, everyone heads off except one guy who tells me they're also a syndie and don't harm some specific dude. They weren't on the list, that's fine. > Head to cargo entrance (cargo tech, salvage spec and secoff are my targets), a security officer notices me there and tries to apprehend me > I end up opening some debug console thing when I tried to turn on harm mode, and proceeded to get robusted > Get arrested without having done a single thing > Get everything confiscated and thrown in perma > Lawyer comes in and says they can get me out on a plea of no harm done. I mean, I did get nothing done. > Secoff demands my code words for my freedom on this plea. To avoid selling out the other syndicates, I bargain giving my syndie objectives (leaving out the escape to Centcom). At this point, I figured my kill objectives are completely scuppered, but I've been given a lifeline to at least escape alive and unrestrained. > Trial happens, I get given community service as janitor, told to go to HoP for it > By the time it's my turn in the HoP queue, the power cuts out, and he can't give me a new ID > After some waiting, the gravity cuts out > Someone takes advantage of the no gravity and chucks a supermatter grenade, killing everyone in the HoP queue, myself included > I am upset > Our bodies get put in an O2 closet and dragged to med > My body is at the bottom of the stack and ends up getting left there when everyone else got revived > Med ended up trying to defib a rotting corpse instead of my not-yet-rotted body > By the time they get around to it, my body has rotted > I'm malding at med > Doesn't matter anyway, someone hijacked the shuttle, made it leave early and I wouldn't have made it on in time. This was the most hilarious yet most disappointing round I've had so far.
counterpoint: a senior engineer telling a newbie to overload the AME/set the PA too high is an extremely funny way to sabotage power/the entire station
