There was a similar round to this… yesterday, there were regular nukeops on salam core, where I played as CMO. I managed to grind a strange pill mid-round before the nukies arrived, that contained amatoxin, which I essentially put in a beaker and forgot about, until the nukies came showed up… Once they reached to the Cargo-Medical hallway, I managed to run up to the commander and took him down with the power of a hypospray and poison. Granted, I was shot down IMMEDIATELY after, but it was worth.
Fun fact with grav off those 61 bullets point blank with 17 damage per bullet, which is more then sec weapons, is 1037 total damage! the non grav test was a total of 1700 total damage and it did not even crit the mother fucker which you only need a normal 100 damage to do!! in real test even if you have a L7 you will miss due to range or get chopped like liltenhead said. So basically if you see this guy throw bombs....
yeah, someone used a razorium extinguisher on me once after i lightly insulted them for not doing their cargo bounties. the ten thousand screams at once and instant crit had me cackling for 5 mins
I've been having fun with the game but reflects are always a pain to use and I think this trivializes the game since you can just always pick the winning loadout.
@@frog_man_ree Use benzene if you want to go for ultimate attrition damage. No sane nukie agent is going to bring pha while you can expect some dip/dylo and ari, not to mention omnizine/TDD.
Yay, Liltenhead did an overview on my reflect changes Looks like the dagger is a tad overtuned at the moment. The esword is supposed to be the star of the show. The reflect code doing stacking checks is not what I'd prefer either. Might do some more tuning here in response but tbh the dagger just needs toning down.
Removing the stacking makes sense, though I'd add an exception for the energy shield (and other non-hand sources of reflect) since it's supposed to be used with a weapon and costs the same as the esword. Dagger alone isn't really problematic, it's using it as an almost free effective health doubler that's bad.
I went very close to blood red with a energy sword with shotgun, thinking that they won't be able to reflect this! I was so wrong, might as well hit myself with shotgun.
I like the idea of the nuclear option. Instead of letting the nukies nuke the station, atmos makes a maxcap and nukes the nukies off the station. I know in these modern days that doesn't work anymore, but I've seen only once the terrors of the uncapped maxcap, and that was the only time I needed to see it.
I say: toolbox, inside 2 jugs of chlorine, 2 jugs of fluorine, 1 jug of potassium, 1 jug of water, 2 seismic charges linked to remote controller. Total cost would be around 3k in cargo. Go nova.
I think if this mobstrosity will stay in game it should delete bulkets(not lasers laster should be same) or make bullets not bounce back instead just strafe them sligtly behind them so it could hit other people behind them
This build is ESPECIALLY effective as nukie agent, as you will 100% be the last to die and thus wont leave your team without meds. Blood red boots, EMP, esword, edagger, freedom implanter in case they manage to get lucky, and you are literally unstoppable by anything within reason, at least until your EMP implant(s) run dry
I'm glad! that was my trick for stun batons when dealing with runners back when I worked in sec a lot.... now I'm a mime most days so funny how that works out
@@Torma25 It still heavily limits wielder offence options. They are limited to melee, pistols(Though viper is VERY robust weapon, one of best in the game), sawn off(another one of the best), ridiculously inaccurate autoweapon fire and flamethrowers(which are buggen now and require you to not hold storage in epen hand which is pretty big tradeoff for nukie). Someone should go L6, bulldog and C20 so it kind of leaves nukies with 1-2 people for that, depending on if you are taking axe or not.
Totally forgot to mention, if you use a bola with a disabler, that's probably one of the strongest counters to reflect builds there is at the moment. Honestly, if you have a pie, that is probably the best counter in the game lol.
Say, what about sprays, gas and foam nades? Filled with say... razorium or pyrotech? You cannot reflect mist. I fondly recall burning jug suiter with CLF3+napalm extinguisher, but it was before the fire nerf. Sure, they have 80% heat resist, but it's the same as other damage types
@@Leon-sj5nb flamethrowers in particular will do even less because of the recent hardsuit changes. if youre engulfed in flames in a hardsuit, you dont take heat damage anymore. it only raises you temp until youre getting hurt from the heatstroke itself its SO good now, that i can step into a pile of lava as a moth in a salv suit, and take no damage.
The wiki has guides on server hosting, it's really pretty easy once you figure it out. You're automatically admin of a server you host (or can easily give yourself admin access)
i fucking love thar even when zombified you continued to tag team with your partner, as if the camaraderie was the only thing to stay once you were turned.
