@@Mobeku Marss is defensive and fast paced. He whiff punishes and makes safe crossups, which is not true "getting in your face" neutral like Kola and Light display.
@@TheDylicious77 I'm not talking PGR good, I'm talking top 10-20 PGR best of the best in the world good. Fatality is extremely proficient with the character but can't really get past Maister unless he picks up a secondary. Light beat Maister today which was not expected to be super likely.
I would've hate seeing either player lose this set, and I would've loved seeing either win this But this was so entertaining to watch, they did amazingly oml
What a great set. Both players clawing at every % they can. Trading so well. Honestly, it coulda gone either way. Both played so well. This is quintessential Smash. Very entertaining to watch.
This is one of the most entertaining matchups to watch performed by the most aggressive entertaining players among ultimate’s top players. I wish they played each other in bracket more often
Damn I was really hoping Kola would get the win. They’ve both played so well so it’s hard to be too upset seeing either one win, but Kola has quickly become the guy I’m always rooting for to win tourneys. Hopefully he wins one soon (Ik he won’t that first tournament back from quarantine)
I was hoping the channel included the home run contest in the beginning, similarly to how they included the button check on the Marss vs Goblin LTC set.
This set was insane Both Kola and Light are aggressive monsters Fox vs Light, another battle of the speed and pressure monsters. A fast faller vs a high faller will always be crazy.
Kola's gameplay will always amaze me. Just when you think he's gonna loose a combo he doesn't and somehow keeps it going. In my opinion, Kola was the better player, even considering the wacky counters light throws. All in all, amazing set, and I can't wait to see more from both of these amazingly aggressive players.
I main Roy and I am always stunned how much Kola squeezes out of the character. It probably doesn't look like much to people who don't play the character, but the way he changes his drift two or three times while falling back to stage to try to juke Light is crazy by itself. He also has some of the best recovery mixups of any player.
What I think that makes Light a great player is his impeccable timing with Fox’s moves because it is difficult to get his timing right since he’s so fast.
11:02 Whaaat? Had to se that in slow mo 5 times to understand Light's dash attack shifted his hurt box so Kola's back air hit him backwards from the other side! Btw - lol - listening to the commentators in slow mo makes them sound super high, haha.
It can be a little stressful sometimes because he dies early and gets blown up offstage, but the dopamine that I get from his amazing movement, pressure, and advantage state makes it worth it. I love playing Fox.
He really was super close to saying ass. In one of the sets in Genesis, he said something along the lines of "kick yo- I won't finish my sentence because I'm still trying to keep my job" which was even closer than in this set.
3:10 was sick combo of fox. IDK Kola playing seeems like he is just guessing and reacting instinctively, there is no thought and just throws out moves hoping they land. 13:20 as well
@@yamsang0__0 Top 10 player or not its what I am seeing in the match. lol whose top ten? Kola is a really good player, some days are just off days. But Light is extremly good idk and idc if he is top 4.5 or whatever bs but he is good.
I agree that Roy's neutral game is very simple, but despite that I don't think it's boring to watch at all. I think most people here would agree with me that this set was very exciting to watch. The thing I like most about Roy and kola in particular is the tech chase game that puts on constant pressure, the ability of kola to read his opponents option, and sometimes even when he is wrong he can still keep advantage. That's what I personally like about it.
