Comb filtering is sick. You gotta try using two 2hp comb filters, one after the oscillator (LIP for me) and before the feedback path (Monotropa V3) and one comb filter after that. Had such a great time with that yesterday. If you modulate frequency, resonance and dampening on both of the comb filters but inverse the modulation on one it sounds so cool when the combs cross each other. Especially in lower frequencies. Btw you gotta check out the Monotropa V3. Theres a guy on modulargrid called RTFM (80 positive upvotes!) who builds them, got mine from him, he added a mod with a feedback path tone control, two sets of screws, knobs of my color choice, two extra knobs, and two patch cables without charging me more than normal lol. If you are interested definitely buy it from him :D. I love that thing. Also can you do a video on krell patching? Been getting into that recently. Would love to see you make one. The LIPs morph/fold, the wasp filters BP and clouds make the krell patches sound so nice :o

@@drthorpe8602 Well obviously the 2hp comb filter is childs play compared to those other two beasts. The Res EQ is incredible. I'd murder a kitten to have one with CV control over the bands frequencies. It sounds so crazy. Just doesn't give you a lot of control which is a bummer. If you want versatility get the Tryptich, if you want something for rad sound shaping then get the Res EQ
it has some little of the 100 grit flavour. i own an 100 GRIT and it reminds you about it, if you mention it great filter distortion combo here, as well. as for this one. the TRIPTYCH i never heard about it, i was in search of a second distortion. AND I'M SOLD!!!! FROM THE FIRST DEMO VIDEO!! 😎 I'll go buy one, i see it's 400e + shipping.. ok, not cheap, but it does exactly what i am looking for! cheers for revealing this to me!! so convenient :)) cause it's late and i am tired and don't feel like searchiing demos and reviews, i could barely resist the half an hour of this one here .. but great demo, start to finish, BTW ;D.. sorry for the long story. short: i am very excited about it :) cheers! good night!
This is amazing! Apart from the Triptych, can you please tell how the drums made? (are those sequenced from the Assimil8or?). they change very often and in a very good way. thank you!
