Very useful and calm! Nice explanation Hassan! I'm having difficulty with the certificates issued by webcentral (former netregistry) and it's always a pain to ask new set of certs. Now taking 1 days just to confirm what they need to do. I'll look into this one next year. Will suggest to get from azure instead. Have a great day!
In AWS, I can purchase a domain, issue a cert for a contiguous FQDN for that domain and assign it to an ALB to terminate for everything behind it using ACM, which is very cheap. This makes me want to steer clear of Azure, which is basically bring-your-own cert. I have to buy an expensive trusted cert from one of the common providers and I can't even attach it to a load balancer. This makes AWS much easier and MUCH cheaper to use for apps that require SSL.
great video, thanks! QUestion. I can access my website app without "www." (referred as naked domain) but using www. it cannot after it was SSL binding in Azure. Any suggestion?
