If you have installed SQL Server 2022 and already have SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 18, then you should note that some functionality will not work in SSMS 18. It may say:
"A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted."
or
"This backend version is not supported to design database diagrams or tables. (MS Visual Database Tools)"
You may also use "Edit top 200 rows" and have a blank window.
Therefore, if you have installed SQL Server 2022, I recommend that you install the latest version of SSMS 19. It is available at learn.microsof...
