If you're going pure optimization, it's probably best to pick a few to learn and customize your preferred character's Ubertrick setup so you can do them on the regular. Some of the easier ones I would recommend learning are: Da Housecat (FS 540 G-Money) Aphrodite (Triple Backflip Superman) Audio Bully (FS 1080 Morgan Grinder) Chemical Brother (Double Backflip BarHop to Mute) The Automator (BS 360 NIFTY Shifty to Footloose) Placebo (BS 540 Indy to Trickitello) Finger Eleven (BS Backflip 360 Slinger) Black-Eyed Pea (BS 900 Jib-O) Yellowcard (BS 900 Mattrickulater) The ones being used primarily in this video are: Alpine Star (FS Double Backflip 540 Karolicker) StoneAge (FS Double Backflip 180 Madonna) X-Ecutioner (FS Triple Backflip 180 SSXorcist)
@@digitaldeathsquid3448 It's been a while, so I've done some practice since. I've already got the Stoneage down to muscle memory, and I also make use of the Aphrodite and Yellowcard.
I've been playing this game on and off for about 16 years and I never knew multiple monster tricks in one (1) jump counted seperately. Guess I'll get back to it.
My normal controller setup is an Xbox One controller, where all the bindings are the same as Gamecube in terms of position. It's connected to my PC directly through a simple micro USB wire. Equals sign means "is bound to". Left stick = Control stick, Right stick = C-stick, D-pad, L = LT, R = RT, Z = RB. Where it gets weird is the face buttons: Xbox A = A, Xbox B = X, Xbox Y = Y, Xbox X = B. This is about as accurate as it can get since the Gamecube's layout is so unconventional. I find it much more comfortable this way, even though the names are so disconnected.
How are you starting the run with a x15 multiplyer? One trick and it goes from x15 to x23 then x28...do hitting the blocks count as a bonus or something? Very confused
yes, the red blocks are the reason! I hold the dpad approaching it for a spin, then bounce off the block, adding 1 trick to the combo. The block starts to go flying in response to me hitting it, but since im jumping on top of it, it flies into my board while I'm STILL holding my spin, so I hit the block again, adding trick #2 to the combo. This gets repeated a whole bunch in a super short amount of time, and I stop doing that at 30x, since the profit from doing that stops at 30x
