Hope ya'll had a great St. Patrick's 🇮🇪☘️💚 I sure did and I just got my new mandolin. Gold Tone GM-70+ F-style mandolin, which sounds amazing!
I fastly recorded this beautiful instrumental piece called "St. Anne's Reel". A common tune in both Irish and Bluegrass repertoire.
St. Anne's Reel was first recorded in 1929 in Montreal by Joseph Allard. According to LaBelle how Allard acquired or adapted the tune is still a mystery.
