St. Charbel: The Saint with Most Miracles Ever? - Explaining the Faith 

Hello. My name is Charbel Nakad. I am from Saint Charbel's village, Bkaakafra. As you said, Father, He is truly a one of a kind saint! There are so many miracles throughout Lebanon in his blessing. Many of which were to muslims... He has helped millions restore their faith to God. I also believe he saved my life when I was run over by a car at the age of 5. He will always be one of my favourite saints after our blessed Virgin Mary 🙏

Hello Fr.Alar I'm a convert (raised Jehova witness) I am eternally GRATEFUL for your teachings in which you share your love of God with transparency and humility. I have been following you since covid and I hope to find myself growing closer to Jesus and Mary through ALL the teachings of The Holy Catholic church! My prayers are with you ,ALWAYS.

There was an Italian woman who lives in Australia had gone to Lebanon to visit the shrine of Saint Charbel to get the blessing from the Saint and ask for her healing from terminal cancer. When she went to the shrine with her Lebanese friend, she had arrived at the time when the church was closed. She was at the time disappointed that she never got to see any priest to get the blessing. However, when she returned to the car she saw a priest next to it and the priest asked her what can he do for her. She told him her story, and thus he gave her the blessing and the woman has asked to get a picture of him and her together. Then she departed and went back to Australia to find out that her cancer no longer exist. She went back to the picture she took with that priest, and after looking at it she realized that priest was Saint Charbel himself.

I believe! You are right this is key! My son was addicted to heroin. Everyone told me he will either die or be in jail. I said no, with God all things are possible. I prayed and prayed. By the intercession of St. Pio he is drug free a father with great job. God is good😇

Fr Alar I am 74 and all my 25 years in North America never been ill.Unfortunately a month ago i got very ill,lost all my appetite and from 175 lbs came down to 157 lbs.I started to pray for St Charbel’s intersession.Today i got all my appetite back and completely healed.I will honour St Charbel by having a blessed portrait of this great Saint and honour him in my Home.

I was born and raised in Lebanon. I have been to St. Charbels monastery and have attended mass there. I’ve also visited his tomb and his hermitage. I am a Kenyan nun watching from Uganda,my toes and fingers and lame,my eyes don't see well without glasses and my teeth were removed four of them,I pray for healing and deliverance and restoration for me and my family members in Jesus' name.

In 2002 I visited St. Charbel’s tomb. I was standing and looking at his body and a tiny blue light came right to the middle of my forehead like a little blue dot was placed there. It happened so naturally that it seemed almost natural that it happened. I had no physical issues or problems that I was hoping to heal. However, 21 years after that event, I can confidently say that something amazingly spiritual happened to me that day because my life today is evident of that.

We need Catholic priest like you to talk about Lebanon and St Charbel to spread the peace now in Lebanon.I am a Maronite Catholic born in Lebanon but Now in America so grateful to both countries.. We had a St. Charbel Parish in Las Vegas. There was a statue of him in it too. The statue started to ooze oil from its eyes Experts inspected it and said there was no way this could happen except by miracle.

I ask and I believe that St Charbel will heal me from my vaccine injury and heal my womb from its damage. I pray my body stops hurting, my brain heals so my blood pressure can regulate and i can sleep at night. St Charbel is one my Patron Saint along with Padre Pio. How and why ? They both appeared to me in my dream. I took these events as signs from God to attach them to me as guide, protectors and Saints Patrons. They indifferently did and continue to do miracles to me and those for whom I intercede. Hello Fr. Alar!!!!!!! XOXO in the name of Jesus Christ. I was "forced" to become Catholic. Becoming progressively paralyzed and suffer with thr cruelest, most painful disease known to man, Full Body CRPS. Dying also of Lyme Disease. I see that God chose me to be a hermit for a while. God spoke to my spirit in a dream telling me that He had No Choice but to make me suffer! Seriously, it was an outer body experience. May my suffering help ease yours and the help for thr salvation of many! May I be known as a Saint! May I accept this cup with joy! Praise be to God!!!!!!!

My mother was born in Serhel, 🇱🇧. Growing up, my mother had a picture of Saint Sharbel on the wall. She was a devout Catholic and believed in the power of prayer. I lost my mother 15 months ago and today was my father's funeral. A family member handed me a prayer for Saint Sharbel today. . I was touched by the gesture and it made me think of my mother. I live an hour away from a Sharbel Maronite Catholic Mission and I plan to visit. ❤

Great talk Father Alar. You are definitely right. God guides us in times of trouble. When I had kidney problem at 13, (too young), St. Joseph and Baby Jesus appeared in my dream. When I lost part of my vision when I had a slight heart attack, a bishop appeared in my dream to ask St. Anthony's intercession. Then the Blessed Virgin Mary giving me two white rosaries. May God continue to bless you with Great Wisdom to share with us. Amen.

Especially now since Christians are so divided in politics in Lebanon now more than ever. Spoke to an old man with a huge ulcer on his lower leg. He could only put his shoe half on. He was selling objects of cedar near the cedar trees. It's in a street of little wooden cabins. I gave him the oil of Lebanon and told him to apply it pray and I WOULD PRAY AT THE SAME TIME at the tomb of St Charbel. Next year I passed and he came running at me jumping up and down. Shouting to his friends in other cabins. He took my hand lifted his trouser leg the huge ulcer had gone. I rushed to find a maronite priest to witness and translate. The doctor of the man was the cousin of the priest and his ulcer had completely healed after three years of rotting flesh and fear of amputation. God is good.

Beautiful lecture. I don't remember how or when St. Charbel started to show up in my life, but I believe he has become one of my saints that keep me company. I believe wholeheartedly in miracles and sometimes the healing starts with healing the soul more than the body. Thank you Fr. Alar for sharing and reminding us to pray for each other.

I learnt of Sharbel from my late Mom in 1993. She received some relics which I've kept.......I thank God for what my Mama did for us. She handed down the faith we have......thank you Fr. Alar for what you do for us.

I knelt before the bones of this Saint in Poland during World Youth Day 2016. He spoke words that still cause me to shake. My son prayed a prayer that was answered when we returned. I am still in process. Yes powerful.

Recently, we have had a shooting incident here where three people were killed because the suspect suspected that the former mayor was involved in a drug syndicate which she wasn't. But the killer took the matter into his hands and killed not only her but two other people as well. This is exciting. My children and I got to visit one of these churches in Orlando. The priest blessed us with St. Charbel oil and his relic. Tons of singing in Aramaic. I was so happy to share this treat with my children.

St Charbel, has been a part of my life for a long time. A wonderful Lebanese Maronite priest introduced him to me and my life was blessed from that moment. This same priest gave me a beautiful picture he brought from Lebanon at mass to intercede for me for healing with breast cancer. And the miracle happened, I didn’t need chemo or any treatment. I have been cancer free for over 15 years, and I truly believe my faith and trust in God and St Charbels intercession. And Father Chris I truly believe that he is my patron Saint, he just keeps his presence alive in my life. Thank you Father for this amazing video that I will share and treasure forever. The National Shrine of the Grotto of Lourdes in Emmitsburg, MD has a Saint Charbel shrine. I did not know too much about this saint but I had the honor of venerating the relic and being in the present of members of his family. I feel that it is such a blessing to be able to celebrate the feast day while having Fr. Chris doing a talk on it.
