The platforms I had to stop playing too, just so damn frustrating and the electric freaking ball got me the first time I went in blind, but finally I finally made it to the top and got the lever, legit life saver
Aha same I pulled that shit dropped back down realised I had to run back up to the mini boss and kept dying trying to speed run the beam course ffs then came to this video now we done 😂
Someone needs to be fired for no check points this way to far to have to go and restart cause some blob abomination throws sh** at you and makes you fall
I love this. This us so fun. Poison swamp, theb an area with easy to fall off of beams, whilst enemies throw poison at you that knocks you off, and parrying has knockback on you, if you fall its instant death, super long runup, and, to top it off, its all extremely dark
2:48 ok good I’m not crazy. I thought there had to be some way to get past the electric ball without getting hit, but turns out no u just gotta tank it😂😂
you can kind of cheese it. I ran to the right side of the ramp as I reached the top - I left as SOON as the ball came passed me - and somehow managed to avoid the hitbox
This part made me want to quit the game. It’s so poorly designed, which is a major contrast from how amazingly the combat is designed. The game was on track to be a 9.5/10 for me, but if there’s more of this it will be a 7
I think it took you two minutes and forty seconds (2:40) to get to the lever. It took me two and a half days of trying multiple times per day! Now I am having lots of fun again. I felt like a rat learning a maze. Even running by some, I think you have to kill approx. a dozen enemies, negotiate narrow beams with gaps and turns, being pelted by poison, jump over and between several wheels, fight enemies in corridors with giant electrified balls trying to crush you... all to finally get to the lever so you can open the shortcut and relax a little. Now I have to find the Bishop's letter and visit 221 Baker Street. I just answered the phone from the Riddler (near the bridge) and received a key for the Trinity Room upstairs in the cathedral. This happened organically which is really cool. But your video helped psych me up for the hardest (at least for me) part of the game. Thanks.
This is just trash ass level design. Here balance in some beams while dodging well aimed projectiles that knock you off over and over and over again then get got by an unavoidable ball then balance in another beam and clear a jump all with shitty controls and camera movements that cause straight to be subject to interpretation and a jump mechanic that fails 9/10 times
