are you talking about universalists? that isnt a denomination but some Orthodox Christian "leaders/bishops" may be universalists which may influence the preaching/teaching of that particular church. but no Orthodox Christian doctrine isnt in support of universalism
@@StInnocentOrthodoxChurch david huntley hart is an orthodox christian and philosopher (maybe a scholar too i forget) who has written some stuff about hell not being eternal. The greek word for this topic is Apocatastasis i learned. I believe st gregory of nissa held that view to some degree (if i remember correctly) but he also taught the eternality of hell. origen also believed in a temporary hell. However I know quite a lot of saints taught the opposite too. Edit - It's my understanding that eternal hell is the official orthodox doctrine.
@@ser-ber7292 yes i think Apocatastasis is the greek word many in history have used for universalism (the teaching that everyone eventually enters paradise i think). Edit - glad to hear that isnt the position of the church. I listened recently to a spotify podcast about heresies by orthodox father Andrew stephen damick and he explained very well the history of the topic. It is a really good podcast. He also goes over roman catholic doctrines too in comparison to the Orthodox church teachings in other podcast episodes.
I never liked the pope of Italy always seems evil to me and not a follower of Christ. but I feel Christ in orthodoxy I feel the love of god. I'm an ex Muslims now Orthodox Christian
