That Arizona trade is horrendous. Thomas is ready to play as a 2nd line center. Dunn is a great top pairing defensman with a ton of offensive upside and alot of suitors/ intrigue. I think you're over valuing OEL and his contract is an over value of him right now as well. Hes been great and is still a top pairing defenseman but he's fallen off a bit and is not the kind of contrsct the blues would be looking to take on. David Perron is not going anywhere. The blues still believe they're in a 3 year cup window, you don't move your highest scoring winger who was a point a game last season if you believe that. Despite Scandellas trouble last year he will be atleast playing on the third pairing next year. I see the blues just finding a top 6 left winger in free agency and adding some more size/support on the back end to make up for what they lost in Gunnarsson and Bouwmeester because once injuries hit the defense we were digging in the bottom of the barrel (even though they played better than expected). The team will mostly stay the same outside of trying to fill gaps likely left by Dunn, Tarasenko, possibly Schwartz. I see Bozak signing a dirt cheap one year deal.
