As a Washington fan i would love to see Smith fall to 8 but thats not going to happen. Nobody is taking Dvorsky over Smith. Leonard probably also goes ahead of Reinbacher.
Dude you think they are taking Carlsson over Fantilli because they want a 2nd line center instead of a 1st line center? Zegras would probably happily go to the wing on one of the top 2 lines and McTavish is probably more of a 2nd line center rather than a 1st line Center. Fantilli has really no flaws. There’s only a 2-3 players that have scored more ppg in their freshman draft year and that was Kariya, Eichel and Connor. Doing what he did as a Center is unheard of.
no way the sharks will pick another undersize forwards .... the only undersize they risk a pick for ist Michkov , but if Carlsson hes still available they will pick him over Michkov otherwise I dont see why they wouldnt takes Michkov
I would be really happy if the Canucks pick Oliver Moore at 11th! He's a great skater! I'm hoping some teams reach for guys like Cristall and Sandin-Pellikka and we get someone who drops. Outside the top 6 (Bedard, Fanttilli, Michkov, Carlsson, Smith and Benson) I really like Dvorsky, Reinbacher, Moore and Barlow. Really hope one of these players is available and the Canucks don't reach for someone! Although, Leonard, Perreault and Wood are interesting. Cristall could be good but has too much risk for my liking. Not convinced Sandin-Pellikka will make a really good impact now, he'd need to be elite skater.
Great Vid and I hope you're right on Anaheim taking Leo!! Columbus needs Fantilli and if he's not there CBJ had to take the best kid in the draft which is Michkov!!! I know I know but you'll all see in 2-3 years😉 Kids ridiculous!!! And last time I checked when him and Bedard played in the same Tourney Michkov outplayed Bedard and Won the MVP on the Losing Team!! It My Blue Jackets are dumb enough to pass up Michkov with Bedard and Fantilli off the board I'm drowning myself in a baby pool... So what I'm saying is, I hope you have Carlsson and Smith to choose from😉
Agreed, Michkov is literally a much better play than benson in every aspect offensively, the only difference is that Michkov maybe takes 1-2 more years than Benson to make it to the NHL, and it’s well worth the wait
@@redboi_ Benson is a stud, no doubt about it. But Michkov > Benson. And Michkov is under contract so her can’t leave the KHL for 3 years (unless there’s a deal made).
Have you lived through a Sharks draft before? They love to overthink it and show how clever they are. They almost never draft according to the projections.
Your list looks similar to mine, but I don't think SJS would take Benson. I think if they went of the board it would be Sale if anything, and thats if both Carlsson and Fantilli are taken and they don't wanna risk taking Michkov because of his KHL obligations. But Mike Grier said in his exit interview whoever they draft they're not in a rush to get their pick to the NHL next year.
Agreed, Fantilli is faster and exceptionally fast for his size which excites me and a lot of people about him but everything else Leo is better imo. 1. Bedard 2. Michkov 3. Carlsson 4. Fantilli are my top 4. I think Ducks take Michkov, he's the best player available, position of need and the team is not in a rush either.

I'd like to see the Sharks draft Carlson or Smith then move up from 30 and 36, to 15-20 to try to score Wood or Musty. If we can somehow land Carlson/Smith and Wood/Musty I think that'd be huge for our future!
If you want Will Smith the smart thing to do if you moved up would be to get one of his current Line mate, You Know the guy who just broke Auston Matthews USA Developmental Leagues Scoring Record in Gabe Perreault😉 I hole that too if My Dumb Blue Jackets Take Will Smith at 3!! Which I hope Doesn't happen!! 😂
@@stanleyfranks9891 Will Smith is better overall than Perreault. Perreault is not a great skater. If you have the option to draft 2 similarly gifted players you draft a C over a winger. Perreault is amazing but there’s a reason he’s projected to go a lot lower than Smith.

Your gripes with Will Smith are valid, plus his skating is a huge concern for me. That combined with no defensive effort is tough, but I think his crazy high end skill will be enough for a team to take him top 5 probably. I wouldnt tho
This vid is better today than it was a year ago. Some guys climbed a lot, some fell a lot. Love hearing about where they were -1 year before the draft.
Lambert is one of those guys where if he went 5th overall, you wouldn’t be TOO surprised. But also if he dropped to 15th overall, you wouldn’t necessarily be surprised either. He’s a real wild card. Similar to what we recently saw with Atu Raty. Who dropped to…. Like 20-something, I think. Although in that case, no one saw Raty going top 10 by the time the draft rolled around. But you know what I mean.
I didn’t necessarily agree with your draft order, but you made incredibly strong cases for who best fits which team and why. And when the chips fall, I think all those teams would be happy with those players. Flyers fans are gonna hate you for hitting that lottery button a second time. Lol But landing Slafkovsky at 9 isn’t too bad.
