Great video! Nobody here ever calls it St. Louie, though. That was only in the Judy Garland movie :) I look forward to trying this out. Looks super easy.
It is pronounced st Louie. Any French folk would laugh that we call it St. Louis. Lol. It was named after king Louis of France. It was then took over by Spain after the French Indian war and then back to France. And eventually to the us. I guess over that time period with the mix of 3 languages it has came to be known as St. Louis.
Regardless, We never, ever pronounce it "Lewey" here. As Ashley Petty said, it's either St. Louis or quite commonly "The Lou". Also, I've lived here my entire life & I've never once heard anyone pronounce 44 as "farty-far" or 40 as "farty". I don't get where that stereotype came from.

First thank you for the video, very well done, informative and entertaining. Never heard of St. Louis style before. One question?? What is the ratio of the three cheeses? 1:1:1 ???

You are correct. Unfortunately, on TV, due to time constraints, some instructions end up getting edited out. Here is the direct link to the recipe on my cooking blog. All off the step-by-step instructions and photos are here for you to follow: kitchenencounters.typepad.com/blog/2012/08/-st-louis-style-pizza-square-beyond-compare-.html
I used dried oregano (because oregano is the classic St. Louis-Style Pizza herb) and red pepper flakes (which are optional, but my husband likes extra heat)!
