Island Marathon Cruise! I am happy that you enjoyed yourself on this cruise. The catamaran ride is so much fun. We try to do that snorkel trip when available. St. Lucia is much improved since we were there. Overall, this cruise review was a pleasure watching. As you move up to the Diamond level, they may offer a back stage or bridge tour as a perk. This is well worth it. Another suggestion is sign up for Cruise Critic Community for interaction with people going on your cruise. You can build connections and activity planning like cabin crawl, group pulls, roll call meetup, etc. Thank You both for all your hard work on these vlogs.

This one hit me the most. I've been there and the first thing I said to myself when I saw your thumbnail was Pitons, and Whales....That's what I remember the most. We had so many whales as we were pulling in that the captain got on the intercom and woke us up..Sooo worth it. Unfortunately, no cell phones with cameras back in those days. LOL....I am a huge fan of the catamaran..Did your rum punch come with freshly grated nutmeg? So delicious...So sad this trip is ending!! Thanks for sharing!

Wow thank you so much - that means a lot to us. We loved this cruise so much. That would be such a cool experience being woken to see a bunch of whales! Isn't it crazy how we can just carry a camera in our pockets nowadays? The catamaran was amazing and so relaxing for our final day - we needed some relaxing for that last day. Yes the rum punch had nutmeg in all the Islands we went to, which was so interesting at first but we ended up liking it a lot more - added a lot more depth to the drink. No worries Johnny we get back on a cruise ship next Friday again haha!

Beautiful trip. It’s hard to pick a favorite but if I must, I would pick the itinerary. All the islands looked fabulous with the mountains, greenery, and colorful ports. All of the people also seemed very friendly. Loved the guy with the booze boat. Was the catamaran sail powered or motor? I was begging you for a picture of it under sail. Also, the music you chose for the snorkeling? Not me pausing the video to try and find out what music you used. Was it John Williams? Anyway, loved your trip and everything you shared. Keep up the good work. 😘

Thank you so much! The boat seemed to be motored for the full ride - we never saw them open up the sails for some reason. The Snorkling song we found online that was free to use - Saving the World by Aaron Kenny ! We hop on our next cruise next Friday and ready to go again.

I love the jewelry stores in the southern Caribbean ports. The hubs has gotten some great deals on diamonds, tanzanite and other precious jewels.

But why are there so many? Some local vendors, restaurants and bars would be nice to mix in rather than 8/10 being the same stores in each location. I am sure the rent is very high and difficult for the locals to rent, but it could add a nice mix of local culture to the port area. Thanks for watching and sharing!

I have been cruising since 1986 and jewelry stores have always been prominent in the ports. Many are owned by the cruise lines which is why you might see the same chain in multiple ports.

That makes total sense, I wish they would stop but I’m sure they must make some decent money off them. Replace them with local shops, bars and restaurants would be the perfect scenario in our world

I don't like being bombarded with loads of diamond stores. I do buy silver & semi precious stone jewelry though. I also don't like walking so far to any shopping areas or places. I wish there was more shuttle/taxis available at the ship.

Hi guys! Love your videos, especially Vegas videos. I’m going on my 1st cruise next month and I’m looking forward to some casino time. How do they track your gambling? In Vegas we use our rewards card. Do they have a similar “card” system on cruise ship casinos? Thanks!

Awesome. We have only cruised with Royal Caribbean over the past two years so we can only speak to them but with RC you will get a “Seapass Card” that is basically your players Card, credit card and passport all in one. It is what you will use at the machines like any casino players card but it is also what you will use to charge anything to your room and also what is required for you to get on and off the ship. Hope that helps !

We had a couple of hours, we chose to not venture too far from the port though so we just grabbed a couple drinks and pizza with our extra time

Great video! trying to decide if we want to do this one. I skipped through it a bit so was wondering if you got to see Martinique? how much land time would you say is available on this excursion? We love to snorkel. Was it pretty good snorkeling? thanks

Thank you, I don’t remember seeing Martinique from my memory and the snorkeling was not the best. This one is definitely focused around lots of boat time.
