I am 33 with bills so I feel your pain with both areas; missing the good ol music and these ridiculous bills that just will not stop coming in the mail, LOL!!! #RESPECT #GoodDay
Murphy Lee was one of the hardest rappers to never really get their shine. He still did good, dont get me wrong. But he definitely should have been as big if not bigger than nelly
I forget how obsessed I was and still should be. Me and my girls used to just cruise and bump Nelly and STL and smoke for HOURSSSS and get into the most wild mischief. When we went to the concert we were getting high in the arena and fangirling so hard. Literally the most fun music ever
Minnesota💜 Chicago❤Detroit❤Gary Indiana❤ St.Louis❤Wiscosin 💚✨️... I miss yall 😊 GOD BLESS THE MIDWEST✨️ Dear Aaron Rodgers, You will get use to the East..it took me a minute but the accents and the snappy tones that are harmless and natural reminded me this is home..it's a whole new world I know and don't feel bad if you have to snap out on some folks from time to time because I had to because they thought I was from Minnesota😂God Bless you your new team and your Season 💚✨️ St.LUNATICS God Bless you and yours Daily...❤❤❤❤❤ That Show me State❤
New Midwester here! Norcal Bay Area growing up and now at 37 I'm in Chicago 😊 New appreciation for this music...but go Niners ❤ Will still root for Mr. Aaron tho...gosh, those Jets must be snake bit!!
The bass in this is amazing. I had an Orion HCCA 15.2 with the Orion HCCA D5000 amp and maaaaaan...the deep bass in this song could be heard from blocks away. Good old days.
I had 2 15 Orion NTs down-firing in my open trunk SUV with a huge sub, pioneer speakers and a flip out Pioneer DVD player that was like 2.5k ..I spent all my money on my car lol. My ears are shit now, but worth it
I first heard this song on the school bus when I was in sixth grade when I lived in Jefferson City back then everyone in Missouri was listening to Nelly
After my aunt got me this CD for my birthday, when I was like 11, I've never stopped listening to it. My goal was always to be in a video when I was growing up 😅
Hi! Dear God who art in heaven hallow be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever in Jesus Christ's name we pray amen.
The St Lunatics (and especially Nelly) were the first Hip-Hop group who I truly identified with because up until these guys came on the scene, I'd never known of any Rap stars who from a major city in the prairies, which is what I was growing up (minus the Rap star part lol I've been a musician since age 4 though). Of course, my life and their life was vastly different, but I knew what it was like growing up 'lesser' as a few different minorities (poverty/sexuality/gender/neurodiversity) in a place where cowboy mentality ruled, and I loved how these guys incorporated prairie themes/farm animal sounds in their music, so I got them right away.
"I hear em crying...You gone sellout...ya damn right! I done sold out before and re-comped the same night." I feel ya Nelly. Page & Union where it was booming.
I was an Actor in this Video. I was the guy on Stage with the Camera Flashing at the End of Stage with the White, Wide Brim Gangster Hat on. The Only Wardrobe i used from the Set was that Jacket i'm wearing. If you pause the video, and look to the left after the Curtain drops i'm right there. This part of the Video was shot over in Illinois Not far from East St. Louis. Fun times! Smoking Blunts!
Born and raised downtown area raise I love this music still do I wish they would have made lots and more we not going to let the hate ruin the city let's take -City back blacks and whites need to get along music is love💙😊💯
Funny Universal told them that St. Lunatics could get a record deal if Nelly went Platinum and his first joint sold 9 Million, ain't that a trip. Hell what's even funner is this album with platinum off of one single, this one.
+MiMM PRO Mann whats even more funnier is Jermaine Dupri turning down Nelly to sign & told him Country Grammar(The song) wouldn't work to get in the game... Now he said thats his biggest regret haha....
"you can tell by the way I walk, I ain't from 'round hurr, probably couldn't tell cause I ain't walking nowurr" was a haymaker back then, still a haymaker now 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥, I had the Jaz face when I first heard it
Real street niggas back tried to hide it. He fooled everybody that's why so many street niggas fw nelly cuss they knew nelly was a hot head. Nelly an T.i. best friends, an you wonder why? Lol
i remember when i was 12, me & my dad we're at the mall & i asked for this c.d.. he bought it for me.. two days later i'm jammin, this fool runs in the room snatches the c.d, talkin about u cant listen to this shit, i'm like dad u bought it.. needless to say i had to return it for the edited version.. all good tho, my dad still be buggin..
Aye Nelly killed his verse 🔥🔥🔥 his bar game was on par! Probably his best verse ever IMO! He went in on a beat that had farm animals in the beat 😂 song was still a hit
St. Louis really put on for the Midwest back in the day. Listen to the way Nelly and Murphy's vocals just pop. Makes me wonder what kind of plug-ins they were using on their software. Other than a few acts from Detroit and Chicago here and there, no one from the Midwest is really getting it anymore like that.
“Home girl, he’ll naw I ain’t cutting’ my hurr” I had to tell that to a girl I was dating. This is the song that got us all saying “fa sho” and “hurr”.
