Thank you for your observation but the ferry to Anguilla still recommends it and so does their terminal. Laboratories, pharmacies and hospitals definitely still require masks. I should know. I was just there 😉
Great tips thnk u! We are going next week so excited- love the tips about a light shoulder wrap & sturdy shoes. Also recommend a waterproof cell phone pouch since that's our cameras nowadays & pool or beach is where we all wanna be lol 😎🏖
The resort I stayed at didn’t give any straws. I’d add walk with a hand fan. The ac was not hitting like I am use to and my hand fan saved me many a time!
My wife and I will be in st Marleen in 3:13 December 12 for seven days. We watch all your videos and love them, hope to see you the island girl while on our visit to st Maarten
I just came back. I did visit Phillipsburg as you suggested. Ate alot and did a little shopping on the boardwalk. My highlight was the airplane flying over the beach. I stayed at the morgan resort and spa and I walk 5 minutes to maho beach. Excellent trip
Such a good list Riselle, my wife agrees with the light cover up it was the one surprise item when we first visited the island. So happy to have you back and can't wait for more videos!!
Hiiiii! so glad i found your channel, love the content. I'm new here. We are going to Sonesta in St. Martin in February and I just wanted to ask where I can get some conch and ackee!! Please share
You can get some good conch at Yvette’s and some other spots. Ackee is difficult. That is Jamaican and not something you find anywhere in St. Maarten. Happy travels.
Thanks, Bob. Great to read that you’re visiting soon. You must be so excited. Do you have family here? There are quite some people with your last name here.
Hi Ruth. Yes. Rest assured that you will be able to find everything you need here. Watch my other videos for more info or book a consultation with me for more customized assistance with your planning
Thank you so much! We are heading there next week and heard about fraudulent car rental companies as well as car theft. Do you have any tips and companies you would recommend?
I’ve never heard of fraudulent rental companies here. Don’t stress. You’ll be fine. Enjoy your vacation. You can check my website for the services I offer for a smooth vacation.
Great video. I pack most of those items for sure! But, I tried clicking on the Amazon store link and it says page is unavailable. What should I type in the search area?
I’m planning to travel via NCL there soon, is the Dutch side more developed? Can we visit the French side? I too am from the Island (Haiti by way of the USA) . This port is one of the prettiest I’ve seen.
Hey Kee’Twana, Looks like you can use some advice customized to your trip. Please feel free to send me an email so we can discuss how best to help you. Hello@thetravelingislandgirl.com
Im thinking of going there in November. Is a week enough to experience the island in whole also what airline connection would you recommend charles de gaulle or schipol?
Either would work, depending where you are located of course. There’s not much difference between KLM prices and Air France prices. Also, KLM makes a stop in Trinidad on the way back while Air France is a straight flight to CDG
@@TheTravelingIslandGirl Thank you so much I never knew KL had to stop in Trini until now! Air france tickets for 4 gonna cost $5400 but im sure it’s worth it. Thanks!
Can anyone help to simplify the arrival process from the USA to the island? I will be arriving next month and all of the Covid-19 requirements/updates are a bit confusing. Myself and the party I am going with are all fully vaccinated. Is the EHAS form still required? Do passports have to be good for at least 6 months after the trip? I hope we are freaking out for nothing. Any info will help!
Hi Daniel, the short answer is Yes, you are worrying about nothing 😉 But you can stop worrying now because I can help and totally understand your frustration. Yes, there still is the EHAS that needs to be filled out online. As a vaccinated traveler all you need is a proof of vaccination and the EHAS pre approval. Your passport does need to be up to date and I think it is still is for 6 months after your arrival day. If you have more questions perhaps you can get more out of a one-on-one video call: thetravelingislandgirl.com/services/travel-planning/ Happy Travels.
@@TheTravelingIslandGirl thank you for confirming. Luckily one of the travelers is getting a new passport expedited next week so I think you are right. Worrying about nothing. I really appreciate your offer for a one on one video call. I will message you to set it up if needed. Your videos rock!
