GSP is obviously the GOAT. A great role model, never failed a drug test, promoted a healthy life style, never did anything to hurt anyone outside of competition, avenged all of his losses and made them look easy, won two belts in two different weight divisions, came back after a four year retirement to win a belt in a higher weight class, defended his welterweight belt numerous times against people who had failed drug test later in their career, and then, most importantly, would adjust his fighting style for each opponent (before and during a fight).
@@o1h823 he retired because USADA failed to do their job on Hendricks fight. Hendricks was supposed to get drug tested and he pulled out and USADA didn't do anything prior to that one. GSP advocating the drug testing in UFC and he's the one who cheats lmao. what kind of fuckery was that?
@@eetfuk3571 that's typical psychology blame everyone else when in reality it's the person blaming doing dirty shit. Then he retires when there is drug testing and cherry picked bisping then ANOTHER excuse with his colololitis shit to duck romero/whittaker lol but was ready to fight a smaller guy khabib 🤣
@@o1h823 how come it is blaming if it's literally the reason? it's a fact. GSP said it himself. you're making garbage opinions and excuses and lies, GSP said it himself so it's a fact. shut up.
One big thing that is amazing about GSP is that through all of his fights, through all of his victories and defenses. He remains one of the most humble and respectful people in MMA ever. I've actually had the chance to MEET him as well. I was literally just at a Starbucks that was on the path I walk down to go to work. It was the middle of the day, pretty much nobody was there, but I noticed him and immediately shit myself. I didn't want to be one of those annoying as hell fans that come up and ask for an autograph or some shit. That probably happens all day to popular individuals. I guess I was too obviously star-struck because as he finished up at the counter and started leaving HE is the one that reached out to shake my hand. I immediately jizzed in my pants, he nodded and just kept walking. That was it. The whole interaction was like maybe 10 seconds long but he was extremely respectful to me, just a random idiot that he probably thought was mentally unwell from my reaction. I just love when people at that level of fame stay respectful. They retain their humanity. A lot of celebrities struggle with it. I don't even know why I am telling you all this right now to be completely honest. TLDR GSP is really humble despite his fame and I love that about them.
Fitch was a tough, tough guy here. He got outclassed, battered, and rocked in a lot of these exchanges and managed to survive all the way to a decision. GSP just followed a great gameplan. Good content right here.
@@maxsteiner7591 GSP has never tested positive and had been an advocate for better drug testing in the past, just because he’s a genetic freak doesn’t mean that he’s a steroid cheat
@@bronmill33 I think just about everyone was doing some form of peds before usada I’m not taking away credit form gsp he’s still better than anyone else
@@eetfuk3571 For sure... Everyone gave GSP shit because he couldn't finish them but those people don't really take into account how freaking tough the fighters GSP was facing. Condit, Fitch, and Shields were only ever KO'ed once out of 40+ fights... And Nick Diaz needs no introduction or explanation on how tough he is.
@@MichaelBrown-rg8oi yup. people act like GSP never cracked them. Fitch couldn't even take a punch anymore after this horrible fight. Man got slept by Hendricks the moment he got sneezed on.
@@MichaelBrown-rg8oi also, Koscheck used to be a tough SOB but after the GSP rematch, man couldn't even take a punch too. GSP isn't just a vey strong grappler, he also packs an underrated punching power.
I was rooting for GSP here, but I really have to give props to Fitch. He is as tough as steel. He took so many HUGE hits in this event and just kept getting back up time and time again. GSP is a legendary grappler but Fitch was able to get out of his takedowns a few times when I really thought he was done for.
A role model that got rich through beating people up inside a locked cage for entertainment and got punched in the face as well to the point where he started seeing aliens trying to kidnap when he goes to sleep? Yeah... NO
@@mamindhive that's not why i like GSP, but if that's all you see i won't blame you for lacking perspective - just suggest you hush up or brush up on what you don't know
People call GSP a decision machine but when you look at fights like this (which probably should have been stopped anyway), the credibility or substance of that argument just goes out the window. GSP dominated a 16 fight win streak Fitch in every single area. Those explosive takedowns, the ruthless ground and pound, the constant wobbling and knockdowns. Yeah, you get the odd stinker like the Dan Hardy fight, but to call GSP a boring lay and pray is total shit. Anderson had Maia, Ngannou had Lewis, Rose had Esparza. This was a brilliant display.
Whoever says usman is the goat is tripping everyone who George fought was like 22-1 and the number one guy or top of their game and in their prime he’s fought Colby and usman
