Anyone that comes from a religious family, or parents, would know this song is not about 'romantic' love. It's a big statement about love. If I wrote this song for my mother, she'd be apoplectic at its lyrics, and it's always made me cry. It's a powerful number that stopped me in my tracks the first time I heard it. One of her very best, if not the best. I guess it's hard to be an interviewer, but sheesh :)
