@@cleftturnip7774 I think it was meant as a compliment. There's gender exceptionalism along with a sort of proprietary urge to "protect" Annie - to the point of excluding the male 'gaze' of admiration. That said, most are weird in some way; it ain't easy being a SWM admirer of St. V. Also older, I think she's the best since sliced bread & the Beatles ~ but there are many who don't know a baguette isn't a diamond ~ or how brilliant Annie really is.
