I'm hoping to get back behind the wheel of something sporty and Ford badged , but it'll probably be either an st170 escort or a st150 fiesta , I can't afford an old escort currently , although I've owned any when I was alot younger , christ I wish I had kept them , better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all !

Disconnect the cam sensor and see if there is any change before you get all technical with soldering wires Like you say check the basics before looking for bigger issues

Theres no change to how it she runs when I disconnect the cam sensor mate. I doubt I'll be rushing in to do anything at the moment, but Im glad she runs well enough now to take her back to her own garage to hibernate for the winter. 👍
