"Stabbing in the Dark" Guitar Solo - performed by Dan Sugarman (Guitarist of Ice Nine Kills)
🩸 Bare Bones 🦴 Number 4 - Here’s the raw guitar parts for the intro of “Stabbing in the Dark” by Ice Nine Kills 🔪
👉 I know this looks weird, but this over the neck tapping technique is essential here due to the tuning we use for this song when we play live (Drop A) and the key it’s in (Bb harmonic minor)😱 Goofily moved my head underneath my picking arm to expose what the left hard is doing... she’s a weird one! As awesome as it would be to do this on an open G-string, we’d have to tune down a half step for that... so fret 1 on the a-string is held with my picking hand to make this all work together ✋🤚 Other then that, this whole part is about pick attack and dynamics ☑️
Forgive me for adding pinch harmonics in here - gotta have some fun in this pandemic am I right? 🧟♀️
