No mockery intended. True, I add in some commentary to keep the video interesting because this is still partially entertainment. Also true that I call several parts of the stability letter boring. I would not classify that as mockery, because USCG is not meant to be entertaining. USCG is tasked with preserving life, not with entertainment. But it goes too far to say that USCG is the only reason I earn a paycheck.

Three operating areas are clear to me and likely all viewers. Have you challenged the CG with their better description. It was however, good you referred viewers to CG when in doubt on any letter content. On the bilge, waiting until bilge water is sloshing is well-beyond the norm of keeping bilges dry which should have been your target. In your example of the operator sailing across the Gulf of Mexico which is in violation of the Stability Letter vis-a-vis, the COI, you may have added the CG under application, may provide a limited dispensation to stability letter requirements for, let's say, voyage to a Gulf shore repair facility direct in lieu of near-shore. Anyway, I've not known staff from flag states, IMO, port state officials, ship tech reps, and naval architects to be entertaining. Hey, you've got a video or several on RU-vid--I don't. Good for you. I removed some footage showing water on deck (near 13:28) to demonstrate the need for freeing ports. RU-vid claimed the footage was copyrighted material and may have a future copyright claim against it. Although US copyright law allows for fair use of copyrighted material, it is better to avoid that debate with RU-vid.
