I usually comment to say what an unbelievably great singer Stacey is. At this point it goes without saying. Here I want to say how much I liked Jim Tomlinson's playing. He sometimes reminds me a bit of Stan Getz.

Yes yes and yes! Definitely a hint of Stan Getz also, but Jim's mellow Tenor is superior (in this sax-player's opinion).

I first heard this song played by Paul Desmond years and years ago and the harmonies and feel makes it so special. I was at a Stacey Kent concert probably 5 or 6 years ago and when they played this song (the first time I had heard their hauntingly beautiful rendition) I new I was about to witness something very special. It is, in my view, one of the saddest yet delicious creations from the band. Thank you Edu 5:15 Lobo, Stacey, Jim and Graham ply all the other musicians from Brazil who came together to create music of such beauty. 😍
