She was already an established artist when Johnny came on the scene. They actually had a duet album back in the day. Their biggest hit was a song called "Perfect Combination". I think that was also the album name. Anyway you should react to that song, and you will here that Johnny had the same baritone voice when he was 16. He actually had a solo album before the duet album, but I can't tell you much about it, only that he had the same voice at 15. The song that you just reacted to was after his success with NE, and the success of the My, My, My album. By this time, Johnny was huge and she was trying to revive her career. This song was probably her last hit. I remember when she performed this song on the Apollo, she had someone else singing in Johnny's place.
Stacy is the one that brought Johnny into the music business. She was a child prodigy and Johnny lived down the block from her house. All the kids came to her house to play and sing. One day her mom realized Johnny can sing and that was it.😮😮😮

♥️This is a great video review PrettyPooh and you couldn't have chosen a better duo than Johnny and Stacy. In all honesty those two should still be together. I believe they really loved one another especially in the early days but Stacy's family couldn't see past the color of Johnny's skin tone which is a far too common tale with many families past, present, and future unfortunately. They were a cute couple and definitely a match. If it was left up to them and them alone they would of made it work. To sing this song the way they did took real feelings from deep inside. Even you and I could feel the love PrettyPooh and that's a fact.♥️👍😁😎👌♥️
